The format, made up of authentic flying ships, is a revolution in the world of international sailing: they are able to navigate over the water twice the speed of the wind thanks to the hydroloils, which allow them to reach 35 knots

The flying ships return to Valencia. After the success of the last edition, Valencia Mar again welcomes the start of the European race season of 69F... from 25 to 30 April, the best regatists in the world will be gathered in this discipline at Valencia Mar Sailing Week. Valencia is the first test of a total of six that will be held in Europe, among which are that of the Slovenian town of Portoroz and the legendary Sardinia.

After competing during the winter in American waters, the competition comes to Europe with eight teams who would fight to get the precious champion trophy. Embarkations from Switzerland, Italy, United Kingdom, France, Australia, among others, will be given in Valencia. This year, the race will have a new competition format, concentrating all the speed and adrenaline in a single week.

The characteristics of the 69F Cup races, as well as the boat itself, make the competition a unique sports event. It is a state-of-the-art boat that flies above the sea thanks to its hydrophils, achieving vertigo speeds and spectacular races. The design of the ship is practically identical to the current ones of Copa América but on a reduced scale.

The organization will have boats to enjoy 4 hours of pure show on the weekend of 29 and 30 April.
