Rescue training in water sheet for fire in the Maritime of Canido

Several dozen young people who seek to have an optimal training in various facets of what is known as vertical works are now attending up to four training courses for firefighters run by the Galician company Verticalia, and which has awakened the looks of the curious, which are approaching the nautical facilities of the Maritime Club of Canido.

The theoretical section provides basic classes of cartography, swimming, search and rescue techniques, fast boat piloting, rescue techniques in hatches, cliffs and coordination knowledge with Coast Guard and Maritime Rescue, with 40-hour formations directed by José Angel González, course director.

The entity that presides Mauro Olmedo is very satisfied with the experience, in which the primary objective is to train students in the rescue of ocean water, with sufficient safety conditions for them, as members of the response teams, as well as third parties involved. The training is taking place in the town of Vigo, in addition to the Maritime of Canido, in the maritime areas of La Guía and on the beach of Fortiñón.
