The Italian Lorenzo Boscheti proclaims to be the winner of the Go Sailing Shop FKSS 2023 Palamós after three days of competition in which the wind has tested the skill of the more than thirty regatists gathered at the Great Plateau of Palamos. The Spanish Bernat Cortés and the Vanuatuense Mikhail Novikov completed the final podium in second and third place respectively.
The Italian Lorenzo Boscheti took full advantage of the four tests of the first day to position himself at the head of the classification of the queen category, with two first positions, a second and a fourth place that could be excluded from the final score. Boscheti defended his leadership in front of the fleet on the second day of competition by signing two first positions in the only two tests of the day.
The Spanish Bernat Cortes, who arrived in Palamós after producing good results at the Rooster Sailing FKSS 2023 Mallorca, continued with his success by signing this second stop of the national circuit of Formula Kite in second position.
With two first positions, a third and a fourth place in the four tests on the first day and two third places in the only two sleeves held on the second day, the Catalan finished the Go Sailing Shop FKSS 2023 second place at just one point away from the other two and signed two second positions on the second day.
By not being able to compete on the second day because of the lack of wind, the race committee gave the opportunity to sail first to category A's Youth on the third and last day on the Costa Brava. However, the strong wind raches recorded in the race field made it again impossible for young athletes to go out to compete.
Catalan Bernat Cortés continues to demonstrate his good status in a current way by proclaiming himself in Palamós Champ of Spain of Formula Kite. At the top of the Spanish classification, Cortés took the title to the Valencian Alejandro Citation, who was only five points away from revalidating his reign and being able to sign his eighth consecutive Spanish Championship.
On the other hand, the young Valencian Carlos Espí, after the wind only allowed his category to sail only three tests on the first day, went up to the top of the podium as the Spanish Champion A's Youth.

2023-04-15: Boscheti remains the leader of the Go Sailing Shop FKSS 2023 Palamós

The Italian Lorenzo Boscheti revalidates his position as the provisional leader of the Open Pro category of the Go Sailing Shop FKSS 2023 Palamós in a second day in which the low wind intensity has only allowed two tests. The Spanish Bernat Cortes and the Vanuatuense Mikhail Novikov maintain second and third place respectively. After a first day in which the classic south wind of Palamós changed in intensity, making the athletes have to change paragliding up to three different times, the second day of the Go Sailing Shop FKSS 2023 Palamós started with very soft winds of this component that forced the regatta committee to raise the flag of postponement in the middle of the morning.
Around the middle of the day, with about eight knots of intensity, the race committee decided to start the competition by setting Delta at 1.30 p.m. on the Great Plateau of Palamós. Luckily, the regatists in the queen category of the FKSS circuit were able to complete a total of two tests before the wind's intensity was back on.
The Italian Lorenzo Boscheti took full advantage of that wind window and crossed the line of arrival to the head of the fleet in both tests. Thus, adding his good results in the previous day, where he signed a first place in two of the four tests, he concluded the second day of the Go Sailing Shop FKSS 2023 Palamós at the top of the provisional podium.
On the other hand, after Boscheti, the Spanish Bernat Cortés managed to remain in second place, thanks to the two third positions achieved and the fact that Vanuatu regatist Mikhail Novikov was penalized with a DPI in the first test of the day. Novikov, who finished the first day in third place two points from Cortés, crossed the line of arrival ahead of the Spanish in both tests. The error made and sanctioned by the DPI caused Novikov not to be able to displace Cortés from the second place, leaving again in third place and only one point from the Catalan.
The Catalan Bernat Cortés is able to stay in the highest ranking for the Spanish Championship of Formula Kite after achieving two third positions and to stay second in the general on this second complicated day of competition in the waters of the Brava coast.

2023-04-14: Italian Lorenzo Boscheti leader of the Go Sailing Shop FKSS 2023 Palamós

Catalan Bernat Cortés leads the Spanish Championship of Formula Kite
The Italian Lorenzo Boscheti is placed in first position in the category Queen of the Go Sailing Shop FKSS 2023 Palamós after a complicated first day. The Spanish Bernat Cortés is placed second to just one point from the Italian, completing the provisional podium the Vanuatu regatist Mikhail Novikov.
After the Italian, just one point away the Catalan Bernat Cortés, who in pre-event statements expressed his enthusiasm to compete at home, was able to finish second in the provisional general by crossing the line of arrival to the head of the fleet twice, adding in a third and fourth place in two other disputed tests.
Finally, the first provisional podium of the Go Sailing Shop FKSS 2023 Palamós was closed by the regatist of Vanuatu Cruising Yatch Club, Mikhail Novikov. Two points away from Cortés, Novikov arrived at the end of the day with a third temporary position achieved with a two second, a third and a sixth that could be excluded from the score.
With the good results collected on the first day of competition in the waters of Palamós, Catalan Bernat Cortés is placed at the head of the Spanish fleet and therefore leader in the battle for the title of Spanish champion of Formula Kite.
Alejandro Climent, the current national title defender, who has seven Spanish championships in his palmarés, signs the first day of second place competition at just three points from Cortés. On the other hand, Jacobo Espí, with sixteen points, is ranked third in the race for the title of the Spanish Champion.
At the premiere of the category A's Youth in the Formula Kite Spain Series, the young Valencian Carlos Espí goes up to the top of the provisional drawer by signing a perfect day. Pau Cifre and Adrià Rabassa, both representatives of the Reial Club Nàutic Port of Pollença, completed the podium of the day after achieving three seconds and three third positions respectively.

An event that this year becomes a Grand Slam by scoring both for the national kite fire circuit and to crown the Spanish champion of this new Olympic class.
The Club Nàutic Costa Brava and Vela Palamós will welcome the Go Sailing Shop FKSS 2023 Palamós on Friday, April 14, at the Platja Gran, where the more than thirty registered regatists will go to the race field to fight the second stop of the FKSS circuit.
