The Superyacht Cup Palma, Europe's longest superyacht race, celebrates its 27th edition from June 21 to 24, 2023. After the publication of the race announcement, the test already has powerful units in the list of registered.
Among the ships that will be scheduled from June 21 to 24 in Palma Bay, is Ribelle, 33-meter, Miss Silver, designed by Dubois, and the Swan 80 Umiko. He has also expressed his interest in participating in the race another Swan 80, the Dark Horse.
The regular sponsors of the Superyacht Cup Palma, such as New Zealand, a sponsoring destination, as well as the Silver Partners and Friends of the SYC, also return to this edition: Shipyards, Pantaenius, Hill Robinson, RSB Rigging Solutions, North Sails, Baltic Yachts and Hoek Design.
The elegant and modern Ribelle - last seen at the Superyacht Cup Palma in 2017, when he finished subchampion in the A-Class - will face a close rival and spitting partner, the 33rd-m Pattoo (ex Missy), also designed by Malcolm McKeon and built by Vitters Shipyard, which in the last edition was made with the Class A victory in discounted time.
The Nautor Swan shipyard will also be represented in the competition for the Swan 100 Onyx (ex Aquarius Alfa, Flying Dragon II), which debuts this year in the Majorcan test.
For their part, the Class J Svea and Velsheda will resume their long duel, as unfortunately Lionheart has decided to withdraw from all races in 2023 and will not attend the Superyacht Cup Palma.
