Presentation of the 2023 season of the Dorsia Sailing Team at the Royal Nautical Club in Valencia

The fifth season of the Dorsia Sailing Team was presented at the Royal Nautical Club in Valencia. This is a traditional event that is held each year in a different and reference club. On this occasion, the president of the Royal Nautical Club of Valencia, Marisa Arlandis, has put the team on such an important day in a firm commitment to the candle of equality.

The Dorsia Sailing Team has become the reference team in the single-type class. For the fifth year, the Women's J80 team has Dorsia Clinics as its main sponsor. Together they have grown and at this time have become the reference team on the national scene in the female category and being a pioneer in forming mixed crew. The sailing team will sail from this year on under the grympola of the Real Regata Club of Alicante and led by Núria Sánchez Nomdeu as Project Manager and crew and the double Olympic medalist Natàlia Via-Dufresne to the cane, in the female races.

The Dorsia Sailing Team has this season as the main objective again to seek the recovery of the title in the Cup of the King of Vela, regatta that they already won in 2021 and will try to revalidate for the third year in a row the Iberdrola Circuit of Women Vela, which organizes the Royal Spanish Federation of Vela and that this year will have its great final in the Real Club of Regatas of Alicante.

The Dorsia Sailing Team's pallet in 2022 was spectacular, where they succeeded in being subchampions of the King's Cup, champions W international Cup, champions of the Joint Spanish Cup, champions PalmaVela, champions Trophy of SM the Queen, champions of the Tencarca Vela-Diputación de Alicante, champions of the National Ranging, champions of the Iberdrola League and as a colofon they took the National Vela Prize to the best project of Women's Vela "want to make history"

In this new season 2023 the team aspires to more and wants to continue making history. As early as 2022, without leaving the female circuit, they took a step further in the sailing sport by jumping the mixed into the circuit races. A women-led team with the participation of large male sailing figures in the crew. The Dorsia Sailing Team has positioned itself as a reference and demonstrate that the equality candle is possible by sailing men and women together on the same team.

The Mediterranean team
