The Coruñés snipes of Bermudez of Castro-Mijares victor of the Cholo Armada-Ssagyong

The absolute victory went to La Coruña
The Coruñese fleet reconquered the Memorial Cholo Armada-VIII Trophy Ssangyong, which annually organizes the Royal Nautical Club of Vigo, and prevented the double of the current Spanish champion of Snipe and defender of the title Víctor Pérez, on a single day that decided the title.
After a blank Saturday, the Regatas Committee was able to validate three sleeves on the second and last day of the punctual test for the National Circuit of Snipe, thus ensuring a final podium that required at least two races of the six initially planned.
With Roberto Bermudez de Castro Rey (CN Marina Coruña) as patron and Pablo Mijares (RCN Coruña) as crew, who were Spanish champions in the youth category in 2019 gave no choice to their rivals.
On a day with winds of 8-9 knots and 70 knots, the Herculine crew was proud: with their ship, "Toro Rosso," they signed a second, a first and a second to score the absolute triumph with 5 points. The day had started well for the national champion, the Madrileño Víctor Pérez Campos, who with Luca Rossa Bruggioni (CM San Antonio de la Playa) became the first interim leader, winning in the first manga of the day. But then, the memorial winner in 2022 had to settle for the subchampionship, ending third the second race and ending with a sluggish one in the final afternoon test (16 points).
The strength of Bermudez de Castro and Mijares placed the Coruñés ship in the provisional leadership after the second race, confirming its victory in the third. In the third drawer of the podium finished Fabio Bruggioni and Andre Rosa Bruggioni (RCN Madrid), winners of the third and last Sunday race for a series of 4-11-1 and 16 points, the same as the crew representative of the ballclub.
The winner of the last edition Jaime de Miranda (RCN Coruña), tenth in the final general, or of Martín Bermudez and Angela Pumariega (RCN Madrid-RC Astur de Regatas de Gijón), eleventh... the best local Viguese crew, fifth, was that formed by Miguel Rodríguez de Jesús and his son, of the same name, while the Master's triumph was for Angel Ballesteros and Sonia Hidalgo (RCN Motril), seventh in a classification with twenty-four units.
2023-03-01: White day in the Viguese Ria of the Regata Cholo Armada-Ssangyong of Snipe

• The test, sixth of the National Circuit of Snipe, had the fleet three hours in the water without being able to dispute a single sleeve
A blank day in the Cholo Marina Regata, on the Saturday day... the wind, both for its low intensity and for the instability, made it impossible to celebrate any test of which regates that in honor of the great Angel Armada, is sponsored by Sscangyong of the Snipe class.
2023-03-31: The Cholo Armada-Ssangyong Regata of Snipe begins in Vigo

Regatists from Spain and Portugal are fighting the trophy, which defends the Madrid Victor Pérez Campos
The tenth edition of the Regata Cholo Armada-VIII Ssangyong Trophy is disputed this weekend in the waters of the Ria de Vigo with the organization of the Royal Nautical Club and the sponsor of Ssangyong.
During Saturday (departure at 14: 00) and Sunday (11: 00), a fleet of 25 units of 13 nautical clubs from Spain and Portugal will be held the triumph in the first trial in Galicia del Circuito Nacional de Snipe 2023.
Although the organization was waiting in the last hours of this Friday for the registration of another ship, the Nautico has already welcomed the quality of the participants. In Vigo will be the current Spanish and Iberian champion, Víctor Pérez (Club Marítimo San Antonio de la Playa), who revalidated the Spanish-Portuguese title precisely in the Cholo Marina last year.
It is also listed as one of the bicampoons of this prestigious test, Jaime de Miranda (RCN Coruña), winner of Vigo in 2010 and 2021 and will now compete with Nuria Lacera as a crew member. The list of excellent regatists seems endless. Martin Bermudez (RCN Madrid) and the Olympic Angela Pumariega (RC Astur de Regatas) will seek to repeat their victory in the South European Championship 2021 in Vigo. Víctor Pérez (Madrid, 1984) went with the young Brazilian Luca Rosa Bruggoni as a crew; with him he just conquered last week the 63 Trophy Valencia, fifth of the twenty tests that make up the Spanish circuit.
In the Viguese fleet stands out Juan Manuel Estévez, who with Bermudez de la Puente won the Carlos Pardo Memorial in Ferrol in mid-March. But also the veteran Patricio de Haga (RCN Vigo) or the brothers Porto, Javier (RCN Vigo) with Andrés Jiménez (RCN Rodeira), and Enrique (RCN Vigo), with Santiago Cabello (RCN Vigo).
Lusa, Galician fleet, the Cantábrico, the Mediterranean or the center (Real Club Náutico de Madrid) will be quoted in one of the best races in the country.
