The next 6 to 9 April, coinciding with the Easter holidays, will take place at the School of Sailing of Alocén, in the province of Guadalajara, an interesting Clinic of initiation to the competition in the sport of Windsurfing.
The activity is organized by the Federation of Vela de Castilla la Mancha and has as its main objectives the physical, technical and tactic preparation of young sportsmen in the form of a sailing board.
These days of technification in the sport of windsurfing are mainly aimed at young Spanish athletes manchego, although participation is open to girls and boys from other autonomous communities.
The programme includes the training of the young windsurfers in such important aspects as the knowledge and development of the competition material, the knowledge of advanced navigation techniques and the interpretation of the race regulation.
Each day of the Clinic, practical navigation exercises will be carried out to improve the different parts that make up a race, from the exit, the navigation in girded, long and stern, as well as the initiation to tactical thought.
The accommodation of the athletes and the training sessions will take place in the facilities of the hostel / sailing school of Alocén, with the collaboration of the C.D Orillas of Alocén.
The technical direction of this clinic will be carried out by qualified technicians from the regional sailing federation with extensive experience of participation in Spanish championships and international Windsurfing tests.
