The Second World Cup of Remo Regata begins in Lucerna, where 562 athletes from 51 countries will participate in a total of 242 boats.

Our National Team goes to this second World Cup race with the following two boats:

• 2-M:Álex Sigurbjörnsson and Pau Vela. They'll face 17 rivals.
• 2-LM:Sergio Pérez and Jesús González. Nine boats have been registered in this form, in addition to Spanish.

The four athletes, together with the technician Daniel Rodríguez, were travelling today to Lucerna where the competition will start on Friday from 9: 00 in the morning. In the first punctual test, of the three tests that make up the Remo World Cup, the Spanish Team won a bronze medal, achieved by the 2-F of Anna Boada and Aina Cid. In addition, the two vessels that will take part in this second race managed to qualify for the Final A, and the light boat finished fourth and the heavy sixth.
