Point and end for the Grand Trophy Valencia of Snipe, which organized the Royal Nautical Club of Valencia, with victory in male category for the dupla composed by Víctor Pérez and Luca Rosa and among the girls for the couple Lucía Tamani and María Sauquillo.
As in the previous day a lot of equality between the fleet and the very measured errors, knowing for sure that only one test would be able to be completed. To this, the strong wind and a very demanding race field for all. In this sense, the baleares Víctor Pérez and Luca Rosa (CN Can Pastilla) that started the day as leaders have not been able to exceed the fourth square. They still conclude with 5 points, after taking off their worst partial.
On the back, those in that second square tied to 8 points with Jordi Tryai and Alexandre Tinoco (CN Mahón) and Nelido Manso and Laura Morata (EV T10 SC) have not failed. The former have closed their participation in Valencia with a second place for a first of the mixed tandem. The discard, which has entered into play, together with yesterday's results in the three tests causes Tryai and Tinoco to hang the silver with 6 bronze points for Manso and Morata after adding 7 points.

The 63 Grand Trophy Valencia of Snipe, organized by the RCN of Valencia and punctuable for the national circuit of Snipe, closes its first day with the planned program of three tests, thanks to magnificent wind conditions in the area of regatas' Manel Casanova '. Wind that has been kept on an axis of 060º-065º (NE-Northeast) with an average of 12 knots of intensity.
As expected and given the high level of fleet that has been given in the RCN of Valencia, the three tests have been very equal, with changes in the head in the fleet and each of the four sections, although with a slight nuance, the one given by the baleares Víctor Pérez and Luca Rosa (CN Can Pastilla), as with two partial triumphs and a third place are placed leaders of the Grand Trophy Valencia Snipe.
The regularity and good work in the three tests of the crews formed by Jordi Tryai and Alexandre Tinoco (CN Mahón) and Nelido Manso and Laura Morata (EV T10 SC) has led both to the completion of this first delivery in second place. The best partials of Tryai and Tinoco, with 2-6-2, by those obtained by Manso and Morata, 4-2-4, make the first ones ahead.
These three crews have marked a distance with the rest of the fleet. The leaders add up to 5 points, for 10 the two seconds. The Agustín Zabalua and Juan Luis Granados (RCN de Valencia) are located in the back with 20 points in their locker and in the fourth place. The Real Club Náutico de Valencia hosts this weekend, one of its most emblematic and most historic races such as the Gran Trofeo Valencia for the Snipe class. A date that is 63 years of history in 2023 and that comes with the 49 best ships on the national and international scene, as up to three ships attended to Snipe's competitions in Spain are present in the capital of the Turia.
The quote of Valencia has a very high level between the Snipe fleet, as in addition to the trophy it is noticeable for the Snipe Spain circuit. For all of them it is very difficult to establish a prognosis of possible podium combinations, although the presence in Valencia of the current champions of Europe Master: Agustín Zabalua and Juan Luis Granados (RCN de Valencia) should be highlighted.
They are joined by crews who are always occupying some podium square, or are in the upper part of classification. In this line we have the almeriens Pablo Fresneda, forming tandem with Barbara Florence, or Martín Fresneda Gázquez with Alejandro Fresneda Arqueros, both of the CM of Almería. From the islands come Jordi Tryai and Carlos Trujillano (CN Mahón) Víctor Pérez y Luca Rosa (CN Can Pastilla); Josep Pons (CN Ciutadella) and Javier Margallo (CN Mahón) or Toni Pons and Claudia Pons (CN Ciutadella).
The Murcia Region has representatives with many podium options on Sunday, highlighting Sergio Barrionuevo and Fede Gálvez (CN Los Nietos) or Veronica Bailly-Baillere and Catalina Amador (RCR of Cartagena). Among the favorites we also find representatives of the RCN of Madrid, with the tandem Fabio and André Fabio Bruggioni or the Andalusians of the RC Mediterranean of Malaga with José Francisco Valderrama and Pablo Vivas.
The local fleet, in addition to Zabalua and Granados, has crews with a good level so they can fight for a position in the drawer. In this line we have the brothers Gonzalo and Natalia Calvo, Jorge Basterra and Pablo Bellver or Bianca Tamani and Carmen Herrero Benito to quote one of them.
The Grand Snipe Trophy in Valencia also has crews from clubs such as Melilla, RC Astur Regatas, RCM Santander, RCM del Abra or from countries such as Argentina, Belgium or Norway. The race committee plans to complete a maximum of six tests during the two days of competition.
