The Royal Nautical Club de Calpe Children's Sailing Trophy has closed its second day today. A day that has been marked by the total absence of the wind.

On the day of last Saturday, it was possible to sail, three tests were completed, so that the RCN Calpe Children's Sailing Trophy is valid. In the SUB16, Mateo Carbonell (CN Jávea) has been the brilliant winner, after signing partial of 3-1-1, adding 5 points. He has accompanied him on the podium two representatives of the RCN of Torrevieja: Leo Griñan and David Palacios, with 8 and 9 points respectively.

In females, new triumph of Blanca Ferrando (RCN de Valencia), highlighting in his locker a fourth place as best partial. The second square has been for Carlota Gómez (CN Jávea) and the bronze for María Fenoll (CN Santa Pola).

So you respect the SUB13, podium for Tomás Carbonell, Arthur Baker, both of the CN of Jávea, and Gonzalo Ballester, third in the drawer. In the female category the first three positions have been for Begoña Pérez-Manglano (CN Jávea), accompanied by two regatists of the RCN of Valencia: Marta Ferrando, second, and Romina Vicent, third... the award for the best regatist of the Organizer Club, has been for Antonio Pérez.

After the award of trophies has been presented the Optimist team of the Comunitat Valenciana that will take part in the next Spanish championship of the class in L'Cscale.

2023-03-24: The Nautical Trophy of Calpe de Sela Infantil with the best of Valencia

The Royal Nautical Club of Calpe hosts this weekend, the first of its great races in 2023. The RCNC, Children's Sailing Trophy, for the Optimist A fleet, with the 30 best rated Optimist B in the ranking of the Federation of Vela de la Comunitat Valenciana, brings together in Calp the 100 best regatists of the Community.

The Calpina race brings with it a double incentive for the about 100 regatists who are quoted this weekend in Calp, as the prestigious trophy of the Club joins the power to continue 'growing' in that official ranking of the FVCV as it is valid for the Autonomy Cup. A more than enough reason to have the best Optimist A and Optimist B fleet in Calp waters.

Among the almost 100 regatists present are those that are in front of this classification, highlighting and being one of the great favorites of the title in Calp the Valencian Blanca Ferrando (RCN of Valencia), leader of the ranking Optimist A. Also from the same club, is Eduardo Reyes, first in male category (second in the FVCV ranking).

But they are not the only ones who have options to step on the podium. Many are the options and given the level of the fleet in Calp it is premature to be able to speak of great favorites to occupy the first three squares in their respective categories.
Together with the two representatives of the RCN of Valencia, there are regatists that aim to be the highest part of the classification of Sunday. In the case of the boys Juan Francisco Chumilla or Leo Griñán (RCN Torrevieja); Eugenio Ribelles (RCR Alicante); Mateo Carbonell or Liam Woods (CN Jávea) or Miguel Gómez (CN Santa Pola) are the ones that a priori can conclude up.

In the girls, both in Absolute and in SUB13, the ballots are held by Blanca Ferrando, Carlota Gómez or Elena Pérez-Manglano (CN Jávea); Marta Ferrando or Alexandra Youji Wang (RCN de Valencia); Claudia Gómez (RCN Torrevieja).
