Port Masnou, one of the most important and largest on the Catalan coast, has joined the brand Multihull Friendly Marina, an international network of sports ports committed to promoting the multicasco sector.
The agreement was formalized during the tenth edition of the Nautical Congress (ANEN), which took place in San Sebastián on 9 and 10 March and which, as every year, has encouraged the debate on the issues that mark the agenda of the nautical sector in 2023.
The location chosen for the firm has been the emblematic Hotel of London and England and has had representatives of the founding ports and new partners.
Port Masnou joins a brand that was born in 2016 thanks to the collaboration between Port Ginesta and Sant Carles Marina. Both entities wanted to respond to the rise in the multihull sector by launching a project that has since continued to grow.
Two years after the start, the Nàutic Estartit Club and the port of La Rochelle joined. It was during the celebration of the reference room for multicasco vessels (Gran Motte 2018). Today, with the accession of Port Masnou, the brand already has five reference ports.
In 2022 the excellent port of mallorca Port Adriano, of the group OCIBAR, joined the brand. Offering a strategic point on the Balearic Islands.
The Multihull Friendly Marina is also in charge of organizing the Multihull Rally & Race, an event specially designed to make the delights of the owners of catamarans and trimarans. A format that is unique in the world.
