The next edition of the fair will premiere the Mediterranean navigation season from 27 to 30 April at the Moll Vell

The nautical sector will meet another year at the Palma International Boat Show, which has become one of the poles of attraction of the world nautical.

A month after the opening of the fair, which will take place from 27 to 30 April, the fair is already full of companies that will display new models of boats and nautical products.

One of the most important aspects of the offer of this edition is the increase in the number of international shipyards that directly expose at the fair, a fact that had been observed for other years, but which has now been consolidated.

In addition to the presence of shipyards, the offer of the fair is a more balanced year, although the candle continues to be one of the great protagonists of Palma, which will have the largest exhibition in Europe of large sailboats.

On the other hand, the catamarans, both by sailing and by motor, stand out as one of the preferred boats for charter. With regard to the engine, the fair will show latest models of tenders and dayboats of medium-high, and semi-rigid transportable length of medium-small, according to the latest trends in the nautical sector.

Sustainability will be one of the most important points of the fair, which can be seen in the predominance of the candle, the most natural mode of navigation, over the new electrical models, as well as others that use the sun energy to reduce the consumption of fossil fuels.

It also highlights the growth of the area for the repair and maintenance industry of ships, located in the area of the Palma Superyacht Village, which shows large yachts more than 24 meters long from the international market for brokerage and rental.

The Palma International Boat Show has shown itself as a dynamic of the sector, as it has been and continues to be one of the most important entry doors of international companies that want to establish themselves on the islands, or to enter into relations with local firms to open up new ways of business.

The Palma International Boat Show is organized by the Institute of Business Innovation (IDI), a body under the Vice-Presidency and Energy Transition Council, Productive Sectors and Democratic Memory, and Balearic Yacht Brokers Association (BYBA).
