The test, already in northern Spain, is - next to the International Sailing Week of the City of Santander- one of the most booming tests in recent years within the extensive calendar are regated from the Royal Maritime Club of Santander and will quote athletes between the ages of 10 and 25 (Photo Helena de la Gandara)

This weekend the exit pistolet will be given to the SRECD Light Sail Circuit with the first of the three scheduled dates throughout the year: the XXV Light Sail RCMS Trophy-League Interclubs.

The santanderina bay will again be filled with candles with more than 200 sportsmen (who will sail in two fields of races within the bay) in the classes of children's and youth sailing Optimist, Feva, 29er, ILCA6, ILCA4, 420 and Snipe, representing the autonomous communities of Asturias, Canarias, Cantabria, Galicia, Madrid and the Basque Country.

Within this quote the largest category will again be that of the Optimist class where almost 100 of the younger athletes (between the ages of 10 and 16) will compete during the weekend and where the high level of their participants stands out. It also highlights the wide enrolment in other individual classes such as ILCA 4 and 6, with almost 60 enrolled in the test.

After the first date of this weekend, with the RCMS-Liga Interclubs Trophy, the SRECD Trophy will be held on May 13 and 14 and will be the President of Cantabria Trophy who closes the Circuit on October 7 and 8... The Séléco-Liga Interclubs 2023 is celebrated thanks to the great support of the Government of Cantabria, Jubilee Year Lebanon 2013-2024, Cantabria Sport, Port of Santander, Santander City Council, Royal Federation Cantabra de Vela and RFEV.
