The organization works for the new appointment to occupy four pavilions of the fair... Ghenova joins the Committee, which already adds twenty-three members between companies and institutions

The International Fair of Naval Industry of Vigo has just formed its Executive Committee for Navalia 2024. This first working meeting was attended by the president of the Xunta de Galicia, Alfonso Rueda, accompanied by the first vice president and conselleiro of Economics, Industry and Innovation, Francisco Conde. The constitution of the Executive Committee is the starting point for the new edition, in this case the ninth.

To the members of previous editions, this year is added the membership of Ghenova, so the current committee already adds 23 members between companies and institutions. In addition, the new ICcex director in Galicia, Patricia Pérez Martínez, attended the meeting for the first time.

During the working meeting Javier Arnau reported on the occupation figures of Navalia 2024. In addition to the space reserves produced at the close of the last fair, the great work done by the commercial team, which represents a 70% occupation over the total of square meters of Navalia 2022, is added, although this time the organization will add a new pavilion. Since 2016 Navalia has occupied three pavilions, but by 2024 it will fill four. With regard to the international presence, and in addition to the companies that already have the reserved space, international pavilions of the Netherlands, Cape Verde, Paraguay, Argentina and Colombia are confirmed for the time being. With regard to Colombia, Javier Arnau also explained that Navalia will be present as an exhibitor at the Colombian fair on the next 8, 9 and 10 March.
