The Alvarzonález Foundation will publish the winning work of the 7th edition of the Naval History Award... an access will be given under the name Romualdo Alvarzonález Figaredo

The Robinson Nautical Library wants to honor... the figure of the shipping, marine and mecenas... of our founding president Juan Alvarzonález (1919- 2013) with an award bearing its name: the seventh edition of the Robinson- Juan Alvarzonález González Naval History Prize.

This call is addressed to those authors specialized in naval history who aspire to see the light of their work. The winning author of this seventh edition - in addition to the sculpture of Miguel Álvarez 'Ponticu' - will see his work published thanks to the Alvarzonález Foundation, an editorial entity, which has published to date published more than 65 titles, several of them of naval theme.

As a novelty of this edition, an accésit will be awarded, which will bear the name of Romualdo Alvarzonález Figaredo, president of the Alvarzonález Foundation until his death on 31 December 2022... a prize that will consist in the delivery of a diploma, a motive for art and the possibility of future publication of the work.

This naval history award celebrates its seventh edition - fourth with the mention of our founding president - and the deadline for applications is open until 30 June 2023.
