At 12.30 p.m. on Sunday, 5 March, much of the fleet of the light-sail of the Asturian has its first date in the water with the first day of the Spring Trophy, in which the classes compete: Optimist, ILCA 4, ILCA 6, Feva and Snipe (Photo Felix G.Muñiz)
Next Sunday begins in Gijón Bay, the Light Spring Sailing Trophy of the Royal Astur Club of Regates for the classes: Optimist, ILCA 4, ILCA 6, Feva and Snipe.
Two sleeves are expected to be held under a trapeze or cane course depending on the intensity of the wind with an estimated duration of 45 to 50 minutes. The Spring Trophy is a long-run competition, where the Optimist, ILCA and Feva will play three days, while the Snipe class will do it six times. Therefore, regularity during the Trophy is key and plays a decisive role in the final triumph.
