More than 50 kitesurfers from more than 10 countries participate in the Kite Coach Regatta Formula to train on the Canary Island for the discipline that will take the kitesurf to Paris 2024, a challenge for which the 10-time world champion in the freestyle mode is trained... in the male category, Alejandro Citation is positioned as the favorite
Favorated by the strong majoreous winds, the Kite Coach Regatta Formula congregates in Corralejo, in the middle of the island of Fuertevetura, about 60 kitesurfers from more than 10 countries, who partrican and who have organized this competition to train for the Olympic Games in the form of the kitesurf of racing in which it flies over the water: the Kite Formula.
Specifically, this race will serve as a training to compete in a discipline that will revolutionize this sport and fulfill the dream of many Riders to be Olympic in Paris 2024, including the legend of kitesurf, Gisela Polido, 10 times world champion in the mode of freestyle.
Gisela Pulido is currently doing an Olympic campaign in the Kite Formula, so this competition serves as training for Paris 2024, where she will probably be the Spanish baton in this Olympic mode.
After visiting the island in 2021 to participate in the Kitefoil World Series that took place in Costa Calma, many competitors chose Fuerteventura as a winter training center. They thus avoid the cold temperatures of the rest of Europe and take advantage of the wind conditions of the island throughout the year. During the last world of kitefoil that hosted the island, Gisela Pulido premiered in the class at top 5, while the French, Poema Newland, took the first place. Now both have seen each other again in Fuerteventura, showing that the level will be very high in Paris 2024.
The French domain during this last competition was also noted in the male category, including Axel Mazella, who got second place, followed by the English Connor Bainbridge, who are already training on the Canary Island. Among the Spanish competitors who accompany them, Alejandro Climent (Valencia) is ranked as the favorite.
