The participation of Class J triggers the inscriptions of the Ibiza JoySails

Due to the success of the year 2022 edition, thanks in part to the participants of 2022 and their enthusiasm, Ibiza JoySail is already receiving many requests to join the fleet in 2023. And for this reason - to maintain the essence, quality and spirit of this event as it has been so far - the organizers have decided to limit the number of vessels that participate
The expectations of another step forward in the evolution of Ibiza JoySail, to be held from 28 September to 1 October, have increased due to the early announcement that the mythical Class J fleet will join the party, along with a strong contingent of repeaters from the last edition, as well as some new competitors.
It is so much the interest between the teams that this year the participation in the race will be by invitation. Among those who return is the title defender in the Perpetual Trophy and the Performance Category, the Swan 115 Moat, who will certainly be eager to resume the fight with the SW-RP90 Allsmoke, or to compete with his twin, the Swan 115 Jasi, who will join the fleet.
The Swan 80 Dark Horse and Sapma repeaters have confirmed their participation, as has the YD120 Bliss and the Frers 155 Hyperion. Also, some debutantes like Prevail, and Yacht 90, Aurelius, Dykstra 111 and the SW94 Aragon will join the fleet.
The returning participants include the defender of the title of the Perpetual Trophy and the Category Performance, the Swan 115 Moat, who will certainly be eager to resume the fight with the SW-RP90 Allsmoke, or compete with his twin, the Swan 115 Jasi, who will join the fleet.
It can already be officially reported that there will be participation of Class J and today we can confirm that of Svea, Topaz and Lionheart, and surely some more will join the Joysail Ibiza.
Clearly, the presence of Class J represents a wink of unequivocal approval from one of the highest-level superyacht race groups, and comes after a visit to the 2022 event by the new class secretary, Stuart Childerley. This navigator, World Champion and International Regatta Officer, was impressed by the excellent facilities and professionalism offered in both STP Shipyard Palma and Marina Ibiza.
