The lack of wind was charged the Galician of Optimist in La Coruña

If the first two days on the wind were very bad... the closing was the following...
Of the nine sleeves planned for the Galician Championship of Optimist, organized by the Royal Nautical Club of La Coruña, only two of them were held (one on Saturday and the other on Sunday). At least one more was missing for the Championship to be valid... a real shame... but the candle is like that.
The fleet of 137 ships from 14 Galician clubs left for the sea at 9 in the morning. There were three attempts to start, but the wind force went from five to nothing... And so until 14: 30 in the water when the committee finished the day and everyone on the ground.
On the ground, awards were given with the valid results of Sunday. This event was attended by Manuel Villaverde, president of the Royal Galician Federation of Vela, as well as the Commodore of the Club, Jorge Etcheverría and President Fernando Cobián.
They received their trophies in the blue group, María Pazó del Nautico de Vigo and Federico Pardo, from the schools of Sailing of the Coruñés Nautico.
In the sub- 13 girls Rosa Rivero (Nautico Coruñés) was third; second, Alma Chamorro (Nautico de Sanxenxo) and first Ana Nodar (Nautico Sanxenxo).
In the same category, but in boys, third, Roque Migulez-Llanos (Nautico de Vigo); second, Daniel Iglesias (Sanxenxo) and first Paco Riveras (Nautico de Vigo).
In sub-16 girls, third Aitana Pérez (Náutico Riveira); second, Irene Campos (Canido) and first, Arancha Rivero of the organizing club.
Finally in the sub- 16 category, Bruno Iglesias (Náutico Riveira) was third. The second square for Fernando González del Castillo (Nautico La Coruña), and the winner was the young Vigués, which is still sub-13, Paco Riveras del Nautico of the olive city.

Bad, very bad wind conditions at the Galician Championship of Optimist and so it was on the second day that only one manga could be held.
In the gold group the young Vigués del Náutico, sub-13, is first with four points (2-2) and follows him with eight Fernando González del Castillo (4-4), del Náutico, organizer of the test by delegation of the Royal Galician Federation of Vela. In girls, the Coruñesa Arancha Rivero, followed by Aitana Pérez (Monte Real de Baiona), is held in the head and was today third.
A pleasant surprise was given by Cayetano Montero, sub-13, who defeated in the celebrated manga. On the other hand, the river Bruno Iglesias is down to the third place (1-11); while two other regatists of the organizing club are in the fourth and fifth position: Andrés Gago and Martín Seoane.
The sub-13 of the blue group, in theory more inexperienced by their youth, are demonstrating a high qualification in this category of "quarry" of regatists..
After this second manga the Coruñés del Náutico Federico Pardo is first with three points (2-1) followed by the river Enzo Ferrón (1-3). Roque Gómez (Sanxenxo) is third (3-4). Eros Ferreira (Baiona) is fourth (6-5) and Maria Pazó, from the Nautico de Vigo is fifth (10-5)
