The three-fifth edition of the Sal Route will be held from 6 to 8 April... with many changes... the most relevant of them being the use of the ORC rating system when compensating the times, primarily to enhance the internationalization of the race.
It is also worth noting the introduction of the Med Cat Trophy, which - instituted by this firm representative of Bali Catamarans in Spain - will award the winner of a new class that will bring together the participating multicascos (catamarans and trimarans), receiving the prize in the winner of it, regardless of the brand of the ship. The Bali Trophy is also being launched to award the first classified Bali catamaran.
Another category to be highlighted is the GlomeSailor that includes the ships on list 6, that is the school ships or those dedicated to the charter, activity in full evolution that is taking on a great role in the Ruta de la Sal.
The commercial and institutional support is numerous, in the case of Ausmar, Garmin, as well as the nautical clubs of Denia, Sant Antony de Portmany and Port Ginesta, and Ports IB... also in front line the Consell de Ibiza, of the City of Sant Antoni de Portmany
In this next edition, La Ruta de la Sal will continue to be sponsored by other reference companies such as Trasmed, Gramona, OD Hoteles, Ultimoo, Yamaha, Sailwiz or Cenautica, to which this edition will be added Vetus and Nautical Channel, which will ensure the international spread of La Ruta de la Sal through the televisions of 44 million European households.
The 35th edition of La Ruta de la Sal will be especially bright... to this day the 100 inscriptions have already been exceeded, but the record remains open until the plazas are exhausted, which for this year are estimated at about 150, depending on the final availability of mooring to host the fleet in the Port of Sant Antoni of Portmany.
