The RCN of Torrevieja regatists, Ascension Roca caresses the title in females in the race of Torrevieja

Equality is the highest in Europe's class European championship. The third day is closed with three completed tests, one day of competition and two more races to decide the championship with the Swedish Jonathan Llado leading with only one point of advantage over the Catalan Daniel Cabré (CN Masnou).

In this third delivery in the RCN of Torrevieja, with good wind conditions, stable 8 to 12 knots of intensity and remaining at 040º, the protagonists have had one of lime and one of sand. Llado has sealed partial of 2-1-4 while Cabré closes the day with 1-3-6.

The rest of the numbers are more or less equal between them and that equality has also been reflected in each of the disputed evidence. Both have so far shown their best version, adapting very well to a very complicated field of races, by the current and the bottom sea.

Roca Ascension (RCN Torrevieja), is the third of the absolute general and is the first female of the table. The local regatist is very far from the two above, has 32 points, but in its favor has 8 points of advantage over the fourth of the table, its club partner Alberto Anton.

Tomorrow, the fourth and final day of the Europe-class European Championship will be held, with two planned tests. For the time being, the planned test program is completed: 2-3-3.

2023-02-16: Swedish Llado and Catalan Cabré leaders in European class Europe

The first day, held in the Royal Nautical Club of Torrevieja, is closed with the program of two completed tests, thanks to the good wind conditions that has been between the 9 and 11 of the Northeast

The European Championship of the European class has started today in the RCN of Torrevieja, ending next Sunday, February 19. A first delivery that has been marked by good wind and sea conditions, with 9-11 knots from the Northeast (035º -040º) that has allowed to close the two tests planned for today and that has left the Catalan Daniel Cabré to tie to points in the head of the table.

As was expected the favorites have been in front of the fleet of 40 ships. The Swedish Jonathan Llado Krensler has demonstrated his high level and is one of the highest candidates for the title, especially in the first test in which his triumph has been unappealable. From the exit Llado put the direct and its advantage with respect to the fleet was very large.

The Catalan Daniel Cabré (CN Masnou) has led the rest of the fleet in the persecution of the Swedish regatist. On the arrival line he concluded second, followed by the local Roca Ascension and Alberto Antón, both of the RCN of Torrevieja, while Klaus Rønn Madsen was fifth.

In the second manga there were many changes, both up and in the middle of the fleet. Llado did not exceed the third square, while now the partial triumph was for Rafael Ramón-Borja (RCR Alicante). Cabré repeated second place, which tied to four net points with the Swedish. The fourth and fifth square was for Pere Rentería (CN Masnou) and Alberto Antón (RCN Torrevieja).

With all this and after the closure of the two tests, Llado is first, though sharing that position with Cabré. The best numbers of the Swedish regatists 1-3, by 2-2 of the Catalan, makes it possible for the leader to go ahead. Rafael Ramón-Borja, not very fine with in the first trial with an eighth, the victory in the second race has placed him in the tarcera plaza general. The Alicantino has 9 points, that is tied with Alberto Anton. In the fifth square is placed Ascension Roca, the first female, with 10 points.

Tomorrow Friday, the second day of the European with three planned tests, the first exit at 11: 00 in the morning.

2023-02-15: Olympic Week: European and National Radio Control in Torrevieja

From tomorrow Thursday until Sunday 19 the best 40 regatists of the class Europe, Olympic until the JJOO 2004, have been appointed at the Royal Nautical Club of Torrevieja

The Real Club Náutico de Torrevieja welcomes this weekend, from February 16 to 19, the second delivery of the Valencia Community. It does so with two classes: Europe and Radio Control Class IOM, both with two more incentives for the regatists by adding to the title in the Olympic Week the European scepter for the first of them and the national title for the second.

On the international scene, the Norwegian Lars Johan Brodtkorb, without forgetting the Swedish Jonathan Llado Krensler, joined by the two French, Gilles Coadou and Cyril Richard, stand out with many podium options.

The locators, all under the grympola of the Torrevieja RCN, have four powerful bazas, starting from the Roca Ascension, the subchampion of the World 2019, as well as two times third. Along with her, another of the prominent and relevant figures in the class, such as Alejandro Pareja. Together with them are the young Alberto Anton and Alberto Caballero.

The representatives of CN Masnou, Enma Cabré, Jordi Delgado or Pere Rentería may also be at the top. But they will not be the only ones, as they also appear and with regatist options of the CN Areys de Mar, CN Campell, RCMT Punta Umbria, with 5 regatists registered, or the RCR of Alicante.

As far as radio control is concerned, the best of the national landscape will be in Torrevieja to see who is the best in Spain. No doubt two of the host club run as the great favorites: Guillermo Beltri and Ginés Romero. The Torreviejense meeting is authorized by the RFEV for the participation of the international fleet that has four countries.

The Europe class debuts tomorrow, with the planned departure top at 11 a.m. It has four days ahead of it with a total of 10 tests. Radio Control Class IOM will start on Friday from 11.30 a.m., competing in Non-Stop mode.
