The Hungarian crew formed by Soma Kis-Szölgyémi and András Sámuel Juhasz took the MedSailing 2023, the first test of the season of the 29-class circuit EuroCup, organized by The Nüutic Club El Balís. Among the Spanish fleet, the best crew was that of the Catalans Santiago Núñez and Ricardo de March (CN Garraf) and the Baleares Neus García and Lucía Busquets (RCN Palma), were the second female crew, behind the British Annabelle Vines and Madeleine Bilbrough, who were the first female.

In the final day the wind has blown with very little intensity, between 5 and 6 knots, but enough to close the championship with a total of five sleeves.

The Nàutic Club El Balís is preparing to host for the ninth consecutive year the first quote of the calendar MedSailing - Eurocup # 1 of the 29th class, which will be held from February 16 to 19 in waters near Port Balís.

There will be 130 ships on the exit line of which Germany and Switzerland, with 22 and 17 registered respectively, are the countries with the most representation, followed by Italy with 16 and Hungary with 13.

Further away is Spain with the participation of 4 boats, although its quality is beyond doubt as the scales Susana Bestard and Teresa Martín arrive in El Balís after last week won the Spanish Championship of the class in the female category.

To the same club, RCN Palma belongs to the crew of Neus García and Lucía Busquets, Spanish subchampions, and the male subchampions Marina Conde and Manuel Martín.

Up to 16 tests are scheduled with a maximum of 4 per day, depending on the weather.
