Marina de Valencia starts the 2023 by hanging the complete sign

The Valencian dársena has an average occupation of between 85% and 100% throughout the year, mainly between August and May, being November the month with the best figures
The Marina de Valencia has started in 2023 with the sign of no moorings available, maintaining the historical figure of 100% occupation achieved in August 2022.
The Valencian dársena is confirmed as well as one of the reference ports in the Mediterranean for the winter of ships, which during the summer months are moved to other destinations such as the Balearic Islands and the Costa Blanca.
After two years marked by the outbreak of the pandemic, the health restrictions and the rise of water sports, the occupation of La Marina de València grew by 15% in 2022, with November the month with the best numbers, as it is the time when all the ships have reached the historic Valencian port to pass the winter.
Similarly, during the months of May to July, the figures often experience a slight fall coinciding with the movement of the ships to Costa Blanca and Baleares, being precisely July the month of the least occupation but of the greatest traffic of entrances and exits.
With regard to the origin of the customers, in the case of particular moorists, La Marina de Valencia has 50% local customer and 50% national and international, while companies that are engaged in the charter or rental of ships, and that also occupy a good number of moorings, are Valencian.
Of the more than 900 moorings of the historic Valencian port, the most requested are those of 12 meters in length, although in recent years the average size of the boatboats is between 12 and 20 meters. Another aspect to highlight is that its rates are among the cheapest in the central area of the Spanish Mediterranean.
