Managing Director Miguel Ángel Diez puts the benefits of this project at all levels on the stand of the Mancomunidad del Campo de Gibraltar

The Sotogrande Sports Port has been present at the International Tourism Fair, to present the Network of Coastal and River Cruises of the Sustainable Destinations of Spain at the stand of the Mancomunidad del Campo de Gibraltar.

Miguel Ángel Diez, director of Sotogrande, has put on value that this project aims to energize nautical tourism in the area by attracting not only new customers who want to enjoy immersive, accessible, low-impact and sustainable cultural nautical experiences, but also specialized nautical operators who provide these services under the strict quality and sustainability protocols determined by the Cruise Network itself.

Among the routes that he is working are, among others, the passages of the specials, the Route to Ceuta, the Route of the Surveillance Towers, a Scientific Expedition with a duration of 3 to 4 hours, a Route to complete in a day between the Bay of Algeciras and Gibraltar, etc.

The project is funded by the European Union Next Generation EU Funds through the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan of the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism within the Spanish Tourism Experiences Programme.
