It was presented at the Tourism Fair in the capital of Spain, the World J80 Championship that organizes the Mount Real Club of Yates, the Rías Baixas, from 18 to 24 September, in which an estimated 80 J80 monotypes from several countries will participate.

After its passage through Denmark (2021) and the United States (2022), this will be the first time that the world championship of the class recale in Galicia, and the fifth in our country, after being held in Getxo (2019), Sotogrande (2016) and Santander (2015 and 2009).
