Núria Sánchez is the new director of the emblem race of the Real Club de Regatas de Alicante

The Real Club de Regatas de Alicante has presented in Fitur the twenty-seventh edition of Tembra Vela Diputación de Alicante, a high-level cruise race within the calendar of the Real Federación Española de Vela, to be held from 13 to 16 July 2023, where it awaits the participation of a large part of the national fleet of cruises.

The Real Club de Regatas and the Diputación de Alicante add a year more synergies so that the event remains a success, and after the edition of 2022 the forecasts are that in the 2023 the number of ships participating, and thus become one of the reference races of the national calendar.

The technical and sports part of this great event, maintains its essence and will have three days of competition for the boats of the class ORC, Cruise Promotion and Women's Class. The format of the tests is also maintained, so the crews will compete under the format of barlovento-sotavento tests. While the mid-day of Saturday will hold the queen test, which consists of a coastal tour with the traditional return to the island of Tabarca.

The Tcovered Vela is organized by the Real Club de Regatas de Alicante, under the delegation of the Real Federación Española de Vela, the collaboration of the Spanish Association of Nautical Clubs and the authorization of the Federation of Vela of the Valencia Community.
