The Real Club Nautico de Palma, saves the first match-ball of Ports

The decision of the Palma Nautico has not been the one they would want... and that would be of justice... but within three years God will say... for the moment the matchball of the Port of Palma, was saved
The General Assembly of the Royal Nautical Club of Palma approved yesterday to accept the conditions of the Temporary Occupation Authorisation of its current facilities for a maximum period of three years.
The consultation provided for in the entity's statutes was delivered with 279 votes in favour and five abstentions. The Board of Administration of the Harbour Authority of the Balearic Islands, today, will submit to the approval of its members the award of this enabling title, which provisionally guarantees the continuity of the Nautic.
The Board of Directors informed the Assembly that, regardless of the acceptance of Ports, the Club will continue to demand, through both administrative and judicial channels, its right to an extension of the concession period under the current port legislation and the favourable opinion of the legal services of State ports.
The extension requested by the Nautical and authorized by the Assembly is for up to three years. At this time, the Harbour Authority of the Balearic Islands will have to decide whether to process the extension file, as the club intends, or to call a public competition for the management of the facilities that the Nautico has been occupying since 1948... the president, Emerico Fuster, stated that the club will work to deal with either of the two scenarios.
