The Assembly of the Royal Galician Federation of Vela met on Thursday in Santiago de Compostela, in a general call to close the sports year, still under way, marking its guidelines and the development of the meeting, the president of the federal body, Manuel Villaverde.

The representatives of the half-hundred nautical, sports, judges and jurors, as well as the Board of Directors itself, analysed the course of the season that in a few days ends, as well as the projects designed for the next year 2023, in view of its imminent entry, focused on the promotion of the sport of the sailing, as well as of its strategic classes, combining four determining factors such as: the New Olympic Equipment Performance Program; the Gallego de Vela- Centro Galician de Tecnificación Sports, the latter in Pontevedra; the Gallega de Slegas de Vásticas and Abias de Vísticas no.

Another of the key points approved by the Assembly was the amendment of the Statutes of the Royal Galician Federation of Vela to incorporate them into traditional vessels and classical ships, in an exercise of conservation of the rich Galician maritime culture, changes that will have to be ratified by the Xeral Secretariat for or Sport of the Xunta of Galicia.

The final step is also the one corroborated by the Assembly to the official calendar of race competition for the next season, and which includes the celebration of more than 200 events in the entire community, including inland waters, and among those that stand out intercontinental dates such as the World Cup of J80, which will organize in June the Mount Real Club of Yates of Bayona; the European Junior of Snipe, in the Club Náutico Marina Coruña, at the end of July; or the Spanish Championships of J70, in the Náutico de Vigo; Formula Windsurf and Fámula de Vímica, in the Spanish City of Vímica, as in the Vámica de Vámica, in the Vámica de Vámica, and in the Vámica de Vámica de Vámica, in the Vámica de Vámica, as in the Vámica de Vámica, and in the Vímica de la Vámica de Vámica, in the Vímica de Vámica, in the Vámica de la V@@

Support for the Royal Nautical Club of Palma de Mallorca

But without a doubt, one of the resolutions taken on Thursday in Santiago de Compostela by the General Assembly of the Royal Galician Federation of Vela and on the proposal of the Club Marítimo de Vigo, has been the unanimous and unconditional support to the Real Club Nautico de Palma, which is now in a delicate situation, as it is committed to the possibility of not being able to renew its concession before the Harbour Authority of Baleares.

The Real Club Náutico de Palma is one of the symbols of the promotion of the sport of the sailing and guarantor in the organization of great sports events, as it is endorsed by its long and long history in the sports of Spain.
