The HM Hotels takes the Spanish Championship from J80 to Mallorca
The Real Club Náutico in Barcelona has been the host of the tenth edition of the Spanish J80 Championship, the monotype par excellence in the last decade. The new champion has been the MH Hotels of the Majorcan Javier Chacártegu, leader after the first day, losing his privileged position in the second in favor of the Nautica Watches of the Catalan Olympic champion José María van der Ploeg, but he recovered in the last one he was able to recover it to end up winning and taking the title of national champion to the Níutic S'Arenal Club.

Today, the three scheduled sleeves have been completed again, and the new maximum has been completed during the three days.
The previous expectations have been more than met, when the protagonists themselves opened a difficult and very disputed competition, with a wide range of candidates for the title, defended by the Andalusian Da Bruno Marbella Team led by Juan Luis Páez.
The podium has finally been occupied by the MH Hotels, followed to a point by the Nautica Watches, second and the Bribon Movistar by Marc de Antonio, third.
"It was an extraordinary championship. We have had all kinds of wind and wave, because or had to be able to defend ourselves well in all conditions," said Javier Chacartegui. "We are very happy, including the crew because this is a team sport, and more in our case," he continued. On his strengths he said, "Maybe regularity has been the key to our victory. Before we started, we had the goal of getting into the front group, being in the fight. But we honestly didn't think we could win the championship. The level was scary and the races have been very, very disputed. How he plays in this class. I have revived the old light sailing times."
But if the podium's victory has been expensive, the ranking between the fifth and the tenth has been no less. Five ships have been classified in three points. So, after the Bidassoa Movistar comfortable room, the Basque also NJ Helly Hansen was made with this other win, nothing despicable since the title defender Da Bruno Marbella Team, the French Eric Brezellec or the cantabre Jaime Piris.
