The monotypes, with their equality, always offer spectacle... this is the image of the podium in s'Arenal that took over the communities of Valencia and the Canary Islands

It concluded in the waters of the Bay of Palma, the fourth edition of the Spanish Vela League... organized by the Royal Spanish Vela Federation, the Nautical Club of Altea, the venue of the first event... and the Nàutic s'Arenal, which was the headquarters of the final phase... with a total of seven participating teams from all over the country.

This year, two events of this Spanish League have been held. It was first in Altea during October and this last weekend in Palma Bay.

The Nautico of Valencia, the Arrecife of Lanzarote and the Torreviejo were the ones who took the first three squares... there was a strong struggle between Valencians and Canaries for gold... but the canaries had to settle for silver, despite imposing on their rivals in the closing sleeve... now the three clubs have the possibility to participate in the European League of Vela next spring.

After this fourth edition of the League, the best qualified teams have the option of measuring themselves to the best teams in Europe, many of them professionals and at a very high level. To this end, there are three semi-finals that can be used to win a seat in the desired European end. This preliminary phase will be held in Vilamoura, Portugal, from 23 to 26 March, in Berlin, Germany, from 20 March to 4 April and in Sopot, Poland, from 15 to 18 June. Those who achieve the classification will have the direct pass to the great final to be held in Travemunde, Germany, from 22 to 25 July.
