Winds of 25 knots, with timeless raches above even 35 knots, prevented the celebration of the last four sleeves of the third act, of the planned Villalia J70 Winter Series on Sunday morning in the Ria de Vigo.

The Villalia Winter Series is to celebrate events 4 and 5, which will also take place in olive waters on 14-15 January and 11-12 February, respectively; in a season in which the Viguese Ria will host the Galician and Spanish Championships in the months of May and June, and probably the Arousa Ria at the end of the Winter Series.

Gonzalo Araújo with his La Guardia & Moreira is a stronger leader in the Villalia, with a substantial advantage over the second classified, the Nacua Sogacsa of Sancho Paramo and the patron of the Volvo, Pablo Iglesias... who by the way is competing at a great level, being second to eleven points of Araújo, and ahead of two of the great of the class, case of the two "apiles," with the Orensians Luis and Jorge Pérez Canal of patterns.

In the fifth position the Pazo de Cea de Ojea and Cominges, which is also regating to a high level, with veteran Guillermo Alonso also in good line, as well as the very young team of Alejandro Pérez Rodríguez del Marítimo de Canido with the Sailway Academy. 2022-12-17: The Guard & Moreira and Hag Ten CSI command in the Villalia J70 Winter Series

The Guardia & Moreira patroniado por el galician Gonzalo Araújo is the provisional leader of the Villalia J70 Winter Series, after having completed its first day of the third act in olive waters. After the J70 of the Royal Nautical Club of Vigo, the Hang-Ten CSI of the Real Nautical Club of Barcelona is located just one point, with the canary Jorge Martínez Doresta to the cane and seven the Galician monotypes Nacua Sogasca of Sancho Paramo, and Seneca SW by Guillermo Alosno... closing the provisional top five, the Green April of the Orensian Luis Pérez Canal and twelve points from the head.

2022-12-16: Debut del Hag Ten CSI by Jorge Doreste in the Villalia Winter Series of Vigo

• Last race of the year of the J70 monotypes at national level in the river of Vigo, with ships from all the Peninsula

This year's last event of the Vigo's Villalia Winter Series in the Ria de Vigo for this weekend. In Barcelona, the other focus of competition, the season was already closed last weekend... so two of the most prominent monotypes based in the City of Condal, arrived at the facilities of the Real Club Náutico de Vigo, to compete in the viguesa quote: Noticia de Luis Caviedes that already regateó in the Villalia in the past month and that has returned to the City of Olivica, along with a new one... the Hag Ten CSI that has an exceptional pattern to the controls, as is the canary Jorge Martínez Doreste; both of the Club Náutico de Barcelona.

The one-half-afternoon edge competition will begin on Saturday and Sunday at 10: 30 in the morning. In line of departure a total of 15 J70, with representation of clubs from different points of the Peninsula and much of the most renowned crews. For the time being, the leader of the Villalia Winter Series, is Gonzalo Araújo with his La Guardia & Moreira with a total of 21 points and a winning sleeve of the six held.

In the second place only one point and also with a partial victory, another of the great: the Orensano Jorge Pérez Canal and closing podium Nacua Sogacsa de Sancho Paramo... in the fourth place the Green April of Luis Pérez Canal and that had Chuny Bermudez Castro at the command; being the fifth Pazo de Cea de Ramón Ojea.

The predictions of the meteor speak of soft winds for Saturday and strong winds for Sunday, although in the morning the winds will be by 8 to 10 knots, with 20-foot rachas.
