The ones who suffered the most on the second day of the Olympic Canarian Week of Sailing were the monotypes with fire, because they need a minimum intensity above the 9 knots to be able to fly over the water and although at the time of leaving the fleet a north was blowing that was 12 knots... but soon it came down... more luck had the IQFoil class that finished a barlovent / sotavento test, where the Norwegian regatist Maya Gysler concluded in the first place.

Change in the general classification of 420 where the Laiseca sisters (RCNGC) pass to the third position, behind their companions Jaime Ayarza / Mariano Hernández. The launchers Miguel Ángel Morales / Alejandro Martín take over the provisional of this double class. In the 29th class, Alba and Alejandra Rodríguez (RCNGC) remain one more day.

The Snipe class ends its participation in this competition and with only 3 contested races, Fernando León / Antonio del Castillo-Olivares (RCNGC) win this 24th edition accompanied on the podium by Fernando Marrero / Eugenia Cantero (RCNGC) and Joaquín Blanco / Guillermo López (RCNGC).

The ILCA class, with the largest fleet, is held in the first place in the youth category the Tinerfeño Ernesto Saavedra (RCNT), as well as the Lithuanian Viktorija Andrulyte in ILCA6, although today the local Martina Kingdom is only two points, thanks to the first one achieved in today's first test. The mallorquin Mario Plomer (CV Puerto Andratx) jumps to the first place in ILCA7.

In an inclusive candle... in 2.4 mR, Catalan Jordi Cargol (CV Palamós) has taken a giant step to add a new title to his palmaris, because in the computation of the six races, he has succeeded in winning in five tests and has only given in the penultimate with a second, which he dismisses at the moment. Five are the points that differentiate him with the grancanary Juan Santana who is very attentive to the movements of the fleet, winning the penultimate test. Francisco Izquier closes the honorary posts, in the absence of a day to finish this competition.
