He ended up in the Mayor Antonio Blanco of the Villa de Marín, the week Abanca 2022; after competitions of pyragüism, nautical skiing, wakesurf and sailing... which were held in the waters of the Rios of Vigo, Betanzos, La Coruña and Pontevedra, as well as in sections of the Miño River, of the provinces of Ourense and Pontevedra. The competition that reached a new historical record of participation was organized by the Galician Federation of Remo, the Maritime Club of Vigo and the Samertolameu Sports Society.

In a sunny day with a lot of wind, which reduced the temperature much, the female sleeves began at the edge of two and a half hours in the afternoon, to do so in the second final.

The oros were achieved by Rianxo, Mecos de O Grove, Virxe da Guía de Vigo, Chapela and the Lucenses of Celeiro. By achieving the first place of the medallion one of the most prestigious Spanish clubs: the Club de Remo Rianxo, which untied the tie with Mecos and Virxe da Guía, by virtue of achieving one bronze to more, while those of O Grove and the vigueses were only awarded with two oars, in the case of Mecos with the most precious: the two categories of youth.

What shows the high level in Marin is that the first-class clubs that will compete in the Euskal Label League of Trainers, the first category, were located in the sixth Samertolameu plazas) and in the ninth Cabo de Cruz... that is, stressing that those of Meira, achieved a total of 7 medals were the club that achieved the most metals in this edition of the Galicia Cup: three of silver and four of bronze (adding those won by Samertolameu and sui subsidiary Meira).

Lugo had his representative with the Club de Remo de Celeiro (of the city of Viveiro), which debuted in the Galicia de Marín Cup with a sound success in the female category of alevines, and in which the favorites were imposed: Ares that achieved silver and Samertolameu bronze.

The club looks like it has a new directive chaired by Juan Canoura and of which Daniel Fernández, Oscar Canoura, Cristian Giz, Marcos Santiago and José Manuel Prieto are part... has already formally asked to organize a rowing test in Celeiro that is within the week Abanca 2023. Given its proximity to Asturias, it is cut off whatever the Cup of the Cantabric, which was last held in the Week, in Pontevedra capital ten years ago.

The other victories in the female categories were Rianxo in children and cadet, and Mecos that was made with gold in youth. In the male divisions the most successful were the children of the Viguese Virxe da Guía, who did so in children's and children's... while Chapela and Mecos were distributed cadets and youth.

To emphasize that the newly promoted to the Eusko Label League, the Samertolameu Sports Society demonstrated great power in youth, placing its headline batel in silver... and Meira in bronze. No doubt, as it is a traditional rule in the club chaired by Lisardo Pérez Villaverde, the quarry is the first.

2022-12-02: Abanca Week: historical record in the Galicia Villa de Marín Cup of Remo: 500 athletes

Last event of the Abanca Week since it began in early September, in which it has competed in the provinces of La Coruña, Ourense and Pontevedra... in nautical skiing, wakesurf, traditional rowing, light sailing, Olympic sailing, cruise sailing and piragüism... with a participation of more than 2,000 athletes.

Three hundred boys and two girls will be held the Galicia Villa de Marín de Remo Cup, in which 90 batels of 18 clubs from all over the north-west are registered, which means a new record of participation, in which it is the reference of this type of competition, which one year more they organize the Galician Federation of Remo, which has as its acting president Manuel Seijas, the Samertolameu Sports Society and the Vigo Maritime Club, in the hand of the City Council of Sports of the Villa de Marín.

At the event the two clubs that compete in the Eusko Label Liga have confirmed their participation: the Coruñés Club Cabo de Cruz-Boiro and the legendary club of the Morrazo pontevedrés: Samertolameu... between them there are 15 batels with 75 headlines and 15 other alternates: 90 in total.

They will also compete the other three entities that know what it is to "play in the first division," case of Ria de Ares, Tiran and Mecos, which is the only Galician club that went on the podium of the National League of Trainers, achieving a historic silver in 2003... those of O Grove, will also be in line with 8 teams (four male and others both female).
