The Varadero Valencia Trophy ended last quote of the season of the Nautico
The seventh edition of the Varadero Valencia Trophy is closed and with it the cruise season at the Real Club Náutico de Valencia until 2023.
The Aquarelle- Varadero Valencia, by Arturo Meseguer, a Frers 45, completed the tour in less than an hour... behind the M8 of the French brothers Armengot, a Grand Soleil 43 and the Majoche, by Alejandro Fliquete... a veteran First 40.7.
The first, closer to the Aquarelle- Varadero Valencia, took advantage of its largest length and was able to rent and take advantage of its numbers... followed by the Majoche being the dominator in that 40-foot strip, although little could do with the two big ones.
The rest of the fleet was reaching the very stretched mouth of the Club and with the favorites well positioned, case of the Nuerored, X-Cuba, GDES-Aerox and UP Valencia and with the calculator in hand, as that wind to many favoured them, to others the opposite: it penalized them by their number in the rating.
However, this second test, only completed in the programme of the three established by the Organizing Committee, is valid, the title in ORC 1-2 is the M8, followed by Aquarelle- Varadero Valencia and Majoche. Class ORC 3 the triumph has been for Neurored, followed by Pestañeo and Inquiethyl-Alhambra. With regard to the class ORC 4-5 Tavana has been first, the second and third square have been for Fortalable TAI and Strategos IV respectively.
The award of trophies was held on the terrace of the Social Restaurant of the Nautico of Valencia, with the presence of Santiago Donat, manager of Varadero Valencia, and Marisa Arlandis, president of the first Valencian club.
