White day in the second act of the J70 Villalia Winter Series, caused by a soft wind in excess and very variable, which did not allow any manga to be held on the Sunday, despite the efforts of the judges in command of the Herculine technician Jaime García. This is why the newly incorporated monotypes: the case of the two Viguese Marbles, the Barcelona Noticia and the Lisboeta Sail Cascais, could not continue to achieve high scores, and this caused the leader of the general, the Guardia & Moreira patroniado by Gonzalo Araújo to continue to lead the general, with a Red April of Jorge Pérez Canal that is very close... to just one point.

In this second act the final victory has been for Marnatura 1 with Luis Bugallo to the cane, it is in an incredible way, as well as being the champion of Spain, it achieved in the French town of Hyeres a few weeks ago being the best community ship in the European Championship, and a few days later it achieved the fifth place in the World Championship, which took place in Monaco. The J70 Vigués achieved a first and a third place, in the two sleeves held.

Excellent Red April, amén de Jorge Pérez Canal, has great regatists such as the former Spanish laser champion, Chapu Torné, among others. The green abiles are the second in the general, after Gonzalo Araújo. In a very good line also the Green April, which in this event had the fall of Luis Pérez Canal, which was replaced by a cane of authentic luxury: the Coruñés Chuny Bermudez de Castro, which holds in the fourth place, behind another of the great Spanish heavy sail... Sancho Paramo, that with Nacua Sogacsa closes the provisional podium.

Vigo in union of Barcelona take the interest of the sailing of high competition monotypes. The Real Club Náutico de Barcelona is celebrating its J70 Winter Series as well as Vigo, and the work of both clubs and class associations is causing the Spanish sailing to have a national circuit with a base in the Mediterranean and another in the Atlantic of J70 that is certainly the monotype of authentic international prestige.

It is fair to recognize the support and sympathy that is being given from the City of Condal to the Viguese Villalia, support which the J70 Viguese Class, corresponds openly. The next event in the Ria de Vigo, on December 17 and 18, will be the third event of the J70 Villalia Winter Series.

2022-11-26: Marnatura 1 leader of the second act of the J70 Villalia Winter Series in Vigo

Marnatura 1 with Luis Bugallo to the cane, is the provisional leader of the second act of the J70 Villalia Winter Series that organizes the Class of this Monotype, with the support of the Royal Nautical Club of Vigo; and that this Saturday he signed the first day of the second act.

Bugallo's are in an excellent way, and it is worth the fact that they have recently managed to be the best European ship in the J70 European Championship and days later in Monaco they got into the World Championship among the first five with 90 rivals in race.

However, in the first test, of the two that were held in the Viguese era with soft winds of 6 to 10 knots of Western and Southwest components, those of the Vigo Nautico did not succeed... since the victory in this opening sleeve was for the Orensian pattern Jorge Pérez Canal with Red April, a very experienced pattern, that attests to a high quality, and that was of the first Spanish champions of the laser class (today ILCA).

However, since Bugallo was the best in the second and last manga on Saturday, he is the provisional leader. The third place for the debutante Luis Martín Gutierrez of the Real Club Nautico of Barcelona, with Noticia, which made a seventh and a second.

Already in the fourth square Gonzalo Araújo with its La Guardia & Moreira, which achieved a sixth and a c uarto, ahead of one of the favorites: April Verde with the great Chuny Bermudez de Castro to the cane (second and ninth).

It is important to highlight the Coruñés ocean pattern, which achieved a fifteen out of fifteen J70 despite the fact that it is a class in which it is not overprovened... which demonstrates the enormous quality of Chuny.

They completed the table: Nacua Sogacsa de Sancho Páramo, Marnatura 2 of another pattern of bells such as the world champion of light sailing and heavy sailing Víctor Mariño, Pazo de Cea with Ramón Ojea in the cane, Correo Kesller del herculino Antonio Arda del Náutico de Cabanas de Ferolterra, the youth of Sailway Academy patroniado by Alejandro Pérez Canal, La Jota Nostra de Anxo Bernardez also de Cabanas and the Vigueses Valmy Atlántica de Alberto Figueira and Guillermo with Sénso.

Second act of the J70 Villalia Winter Series by the Association of the Fashion Monotype with the support of the Royal Nautical Club of Vigo... a second act with a higher temperature than the first one, in which the look of the vigo, Gonzalo Araújo with his La Guardia & Moreira, will have to cast the rest.

For the incorporation of several elite J70; case of the Noticia del Real Club Marítimo de Santander, Marnatura 2, the Sail Cascais... or the incorporation of one of the best Spanish patterns of all time, case of the Coruñés Chuny Bermudez de Castro, which on this occasion will sail in the J70 ourensano Apro Verde, in replacement of its usual cane Luis Pérez Canal, which is low provisional.

The forecast of the regatta director, the Herculine Jaime García, is to celebrate a total of eight sleeves: four on Saturday (from 1.30 p.m.) and so many on Sunday (from 10.30 p.m.).

If it is necessary to highlight that Chuny Bermudez is incorporated into the Green April, it is also necessary to highlight that he is back in line of departure, one of the most prominent Lusian patterns with the Sail Cascais, case of the Olympic Vasco Serpa... or by part of the viguesa the return to the rudo of Luis Bugallo, having led the Marnatura to be the best European ship in the European Championship of Hyes, or to be the fifth in the world in Monaco.

On this occasion the golden redhead will have as his companions the top quality regatists... as another of the Spanish sailing fort: Víctor Mariño, as well as Jorge Lorenzo and Marcos Castro. All of them will sail on Marnatura 2.

It also strengthens in many integers the quality of these J70 Villalia Winter Series the return to Vigo of one of the strongest J70 on the national scene: the Noticia de Cavíedes of the Real Club Marítimo de Santander.
