The American Bread of Formula KIte in San Luís

The Pan American Formula Kite, held until this Sunday in San Luís, ended with a trio of Brazilians on the podium. Bruno Lobo (29) of Maranhão was the best placed in the dispute between all the participants of the American continent in the male category. In the female category, the best in America is Socorro Reis, from Piauí. Also from Maranhão, Lucas Fonseca (17) was third.

The second place in the male category was for Tiger Tyson, from Antigua and Barbuda. In the female category, the third place was occupied by María Lizeth Rojas (Colombia). Second was Catalina Torienzo (Argentina).

The athlete Bruno Lobo celebrated the podium, which also guarantees him the classification for the Pan American Formula Kite Championship 2023, to be held in Santiago, Chile. The event is one more step in the Brazilian dream of representing the country at the Paris Olympic Games.

In the Open category, which includes participants of all nationalities, the winner among men was Max Maeder (15) from Singapore, and the second place was for Martin Dolenc from Croatia. Bruno Lobo also got the podium in this category: he took the third place of the general. Among the women, the winner of the open modality was Lauriane Nolot. Secondly, there were Jemima Crathorne (United Kingdom) and Sofia Tomasoni (Italy).
