Tomorrow in Altea begins the first event of the so-called Spanish Vela League 2022, which organizes the Royal Spanish Vela Federation, the Altea Nautical Club and the Arenal Nautical Club.

Ten crews coming from nautical clubs across the Spanish coast such as RCN de Arrecife (current champions), RCN de Valencia (champions in 2020), RCN de Denia, RC El Candado, CN El Balís, RCR de Alicante, RCN Torrevieja, RCN Calpe, CN S'Arenal and CN de Altea, with regatists of all the profiles from the most consecrated and veterans to the young promises of our sailing.

The race has a very original and very little seen competition system in our country. All the teams sail on the same ships that the organization provides and the crews rotate from boat.

All the sleeves of the championship are held with direct arbitration in the water and the races, which are very short, usually last no more than 10 minutes in order to maintain the intensity and to have as many clashes as possible between the ten registered teams.
