Marina Badalona has been incorporated as the base port of the Golden Cup race to be held from 28 to 30 October, so, adding efforts with Marina Vela Barcelona, the race will have two headquarters to host the fleet and organize social events on the ground.

The Golden Cup consists of two tests, a long race and a short... the equipment that gets the best result, combining both tests, will be raised with the IV Golden Cup.

The first test, the Marina Badalona Trophy, will leave the port on the afternoon of Friday 28 October and will consist of a coastal tour of about 60 nautical miles with the end in Badalona.

The second test, the Marina Vela Barcelona Trophy, to be held on Sunday, October 30, will consist of a 15-mile coastal circuit with exit in Badalona and arrival in front of the Vela hotel in Barcelona.

A competitive fleet of more than twenty boats is already ready to participate... among the registered ones the Hydra... will also participate the young badalonino Pere Crespo, Spanish champion of sailing skate, who will compete in the category Solitaries on board his Transcosy... or the last winner of the Golden Cup, Joan Balaguer, will also be on the starting line to defend his title on board the Korrigan.
