It was presented in the halls of the Royal Nautical Club of Gran Canaria, the Princess of Asturias of Cruises Trophy, which with the organization of the canary club, will be held next week, from 28 to 30 October.

The participation of at least 30 units, of the fleets of Spain and Portugal is already guaranteed... that they will be subdivided into classes ORC1 to ORC5 and ORCE... as regards canary cruises, the presence of ships from all over the Autonomous Community is ensured.

After the pandemic, the clubs of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and Tenerife joined forces to add one more incentive, creating a joint trophy with cash prizes for the most outstanding boats, which participate in the two most important competitions that are held in the archipelago for this class: the Princess Trophy of Asturias and the Infanta Trophy of Spain, both included in the celebrations of the V Centenary first return to the world Magraves- Elcano. At the end of this month we will meet the winner of the Second Canary Trophy. The last edition was the Butxaca ship of the grancan shipowner Joaquín Blanco, the winner.
