200 windsurfers in the Surfari Sea Minor 2022

In this year 2022 the Surfari Mar Menor, has again generated a great illusion for making known the enormous tourist possibilities for the practice of water sports that this great natural water space of great beauty and which is certainly one of the best places in Europe for sailing in general and windsurfing in particular

About a hundred windsurfers from the Balearic Islands, Andalusia, Madrid, Castilla la Mancha, Galicia, Catalonia, Valencia Community, Aragón, Melilla, Murcia and other autonomous communities, again went to this tourist villa in the Murcia region to participate in this great windsurfing sports festival.

The event was again organized by the City Council of Los Alcázares, Club Náutico Mar Menor, Instituto de Turismo de la Región de Murcia, Estación Nática Mar Menor, Municipality of Los Alcázares, as well as the Spanish Federation of Vela and Federation of Vela of the Region of Murcia.

CLASS RACEBOARD. The first three positions were for Jorge Maciel, Álvaro Rivera and Martín Maciel. A remarkable victory for the Galician and former Olympic Jorge Maciel, who gave no choice to the other rivals.

CLASS OPEN. Highlights female participation and triumph for the Azul Sánchez melillense, followed by Noan Martínez and Claudia Herrero. Here, the number of the ships like Techno, along with Windsurfer and Raceboard, were highlighted.

CLASS OPEN INFANTIL. Triumph for the local windsurfer of the club Puntaolas Elena Castellote, followed by Emilio Rogel of the nautical club Torrevieja and third in the classification José Santos of the Club Nautico de Altea.

CLASS OPEN FOIL. It was certainly one of the most numerous and spectacular classes in this SURFARI.

Victory for the Gerundense Nico Forés, followed by the Andalusian Alejandro Arauz and Juan Pedro Guardiola, both of the Club Puerto Sherry.

WINDSURF FORMULA CLASS. Eight very interesting tests were completed and, to highlight, the enormous equality between the first three classified. Thus, in many of the tests, when reaching the finish line the distance between ships was minimal, of just a few seconds. Pretended victory for the gaditano Hugo de Andrés, followed by Luis Vierna and the talaveran of the SURF3 team Alfonso Tertre.
