The Vigués Pablo Astiazarán in ILCA6 and the veteran Laserista Lusitano Serafim Gonçalves in ILCA7, were distributed the victories in the first act of the Atlantic Week City of Vigo, which joined just over 80 Laseristas in the Iberian athlantic area.

In ILCA 4, the sub-18 Alba Díaz (CN Marina Coruña) completed its series with another first and second, plus a ninth that was its discard, to finish first of the general (1-2-2- [9] -1, 7 net points), although in this class there was no absolute prize but by age, to the best sub-16 and sub-18 male and female. In other words, trophies for Alba Díaz and Miguel Rodríguez Tábara (Marítimo de Canido) in sub-18 and for Rodríguez Tábara and Jimena Crespo (MRCY Baiona) in sub-16.

The Marine regatist was second to sign a remarkable series (4-4- 1- [UFD] -1) in the general and a Sunday with two partial wins. Miguel Rey (RCN Vigo), leader on Saturday, was less regular in the face of a 180-star wind with 20-knots peaks and an average of 10. Finally, the regatist of the Viguese Nautico ended second in both sub-18 and sub-16 (series 2-1- [17] -3-6, 12 net points by dismissing the seventeenth position of the first Sunday race) to two points of Tábara.

In ILCA 6, Paul Astiazaran flew in the river. To a first place and a second on Saturday he was joined by three consecutive partial wins on an unforgettable Sunday. No one coughed and rose with the absolute triumph and also with the sub-19 and sub-21, followed in all of them by Paul Emezabal (RCN San Sebastián), from less to more (5-4-2-3- [6], 14 net points). The sub-19 and sub-21 female were for Alejandra Peleteiro (RCN Sanxenxo), tenth in the general.

And in ILCA 7, Serafim Gonçalves turned the classification and won the victory. Second on Saturday with a quarter and a first, two points from Enrique Vilariño (RCN Coruña), the one from Póvoa de Varzim was placed with the same points as the Coruñés (9) with another fourth place in the first race of the day, to give the final zarpazo in the following two: two partial triumphs, 7 net points and... title.

At one point was Miguel Reboreda (RCN Portosín), who with a series in crescendo ([7] -3-1-2-2, 8 points), sheds the second absolute square to Vilariño, which ended third (1-2-6- [10] -6, 15 points).

The next weekend, second cycle: turn for the 420, Snipe and Vaurien in the Viguese ría, while in Viana do Castelo the Viana Cidade of Optimist is held, which scores together with the Meeting City of Vigo of that class.

In ILCA 4, the sub-16 Miguel Rey (RCN Vigo), with 3 points (2-1 series), the same as the sub-18 Alba Díaz (CN Marina Coruña), who won the first manga and was second in the next one.

Pablo Astiazarán, also with the grympola of the Royal Nautical Club of Vigo, alone leads the class ILCA 6 (Radial) with 3 points (series 1-2), while in ILCA 7 the sub-21 Enrique Vilariño obtained a first and a second (3 points) to go to the second and last day as the first one classified in solo.

Rey has the Coruñesa sub-18 Diaz glued to ILCA 4, but behind them the Viguese fleet has collided to more elements: Alejandro Pérez (RCN Vigo) is third with 6 points for two third places, and Miguel Rodríguez Tábara (Marítimo de Canido), accounts for 8 units for two quarters.

The sub-19 Vigués Astiazarán also has the sub-19 Fernando Campos (Marítimo de Canido) leading the persecutor group of ILCA 6 with 5 points (2-3) and the fleet of the cantabric, with 9 points both the sub-21 Martín Bueno (Marítimo del Abra), with an 8-1 series, as Paul Emezabal (5-4), of the RCN of San Sebastián.

And in ILCA 7, the ever-faithful Serafim Gonçalves - not to miss an appointment with the week - is two points from Vilariño (series 4-1, 5 points) after winning the second race in the afternoon. The regatist of the CN Povoense already knows what it is to raise the title of the Week and seek another trophy. After Vilariño and Gonçalves, Denis Rodríguez (2-4) and Lucas Lorenzo (3-6), east of the Viguese Nautico.

2022-10-13: The Atlantic City of Vigo Week begins in olive waters

It returns the so-called Atlantic City of Vigo Week, which it maintains as traditional in its second epoch, which began with the solo organization of the olive club in 2013 product of its division at organizational level... the three cycles of competition on three consecutive weekends of this October.

The races will be held this weekend, days 15-16, for the ILCA class, the next Saturday and Sunday of 22 and 23 will be the turn for the double classes (420, Vaien and Snipe) and will finish the series with the Meeting International City of Vigo of Optimist, which would end the holiday of November 1, Tuesday, after the start of the sleeves on Sunday 30.

With still open deadlines, the Week already has 242 ships of nautical clubs from Spain, Portugal, Finland and Italy, of which 88 are regatists of Laser, who will enter into the area this Saturday (14: 00 hours) and Sunday (11: 00).

In the ILCA class, the Nautico has the participation of thirteen clubs in Galicia and Cantábrico (Cantabria and Basque Country).
