Second day of the Trophy 50 Anniversary of the Nautical and Sports Club of Riveira- Trophy School of Vela Ramiro Carregal Rey, which this weekend brought together in the barbanzan region the best regatists of the children's sailing in Galicia, in a race classifying at the beginning of the velistic season for the formation of the autonomous team.

The Coruñés Fernando González del Castillo, of the Real Club Náutico de La Coruña, was made with the absolute triumph of the race, although very tight in points by its immediate persecutor on the table, to which it only took advantage in one unit. The herculino rented with 10 points, being the silver for the olive tree of the Royal Nautical Club of Vigo, Paco Riveras, with 11 points, the same for the tanning metal that remained in Riveira, being its title the regatist of the Nautical and Sports, Bruno Iglesias.

The women's champion of the event was the viguesa of the Marítimo Club de Canido, Carolina Comesaña, sixth in the absolute list, with the Nautico vigués the victory Sub13 thanks to Luís Wizner. Canido was also awarded the test in Sub13 Feminino, thanks to the intervention of his representative, the Viguesa Laura Pérez.

With regard to the Grupo Plata Carmen Bermejo, of the Real Club Náutico de La Coruña, was held the golden post, followed by Enzo Ferrón, de Riveira, closing the podium the representative of RCN Vigo, Sara Reboredo.

After a long battle with the wind of more than two hours, the 50th Anniversary Regata Committee of the Riveira Nautical Sports Club was able to validate two sleeves on this first day of the classification race of Optimist, which has managed to bring together in the Barranza more than 150 girls and boys from all over Galicia, in what is being the first event of the season on the official calendar of the Royal Galician Federation of Vela

The last quarter of 2022 in the official competition calendar of the Royal Galician Federation of Vela is inaugurated by the Riveira Nautical and Sports Club, with the organization of the first test of the new season, which will be a qualifying race of the Optimist class, the largest in the community.

By bringing together more than 150 girls and boys from all over Galicia in the waters of the Ria de Arousa, the small ambassadors represent the most prominent sailing schools in the community, approximately 12 nautical entities, putting in particular value in this theme with the children's sport, the host's own, the School of Vela Ramiro Carregal Rey, the promoter of the event on the occasion of the commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the social and sports entity of Riveira.

During two days, six sleeves will be held, with a field of races mounted on the water sheet closest to the beach of Coroso, very visible from the city. The categories that are distinguished are Sub13, both male and female; and Sub16, also male and female.
