For Mirfak of Diego López the Guardian of Cruises Regata

The Mirfak conquers the bust of Elcano for the first time and happens to the Magic in the palmaris of the Guardian
The Mirfak proclaimed himself the absolute winner this Sunday of the Guardian Regata and, in addition, republished the triumph of 2021 as the Galician champion of Cruises, after two days in which he dominated both Class 1 and the absolute general classification, ahead of Orion and Ozosana, second and third, respectively, for a fleet of fourteen units in the water over fifteen inscriptions.
With Diego López in the cane, the Farr 42 that represented the Ferrol Naval Regatta Commission was imposed on Saturday in the Marin-Vigo (18.90 miles) and this Sunday in the Vigo-Marin, stage of return of the Guardiamarina, this time with 20.10 miles of coastal tour. Both stages, with the organization shared by the Royal Nautical Club of Vigo and the Military Naval School of Marin.
In the classifications of the three classes there was only one change from the Saturday stage. On the first day, the Dufour 360 Bonaventure (José Luis Ríos, RCN Vigo) had been imposed for 31 seconds in the time correction, to the First 42S7 Lacazán in Class 3, but in the Sunday race the ship that patron Ignacio Miguel Pedrosa (CN Sada) turned the classification. He took 12: 58 minutes in the time compensated to his direct rival to take to Sada the victory in the division.
With the unquestionable Mirfak winner in Class 1 (it had been imposed for 66 seconds in the first stage in compensation, but this Sunday he put almost 16 minutes into his immediate pursuer, the IMX-38 Ozosana), Class 2 would be for the Orion (Alberto Javier Pérez, RCN Sanxenxo). The First 33.7 with the Sangenxo grympola again brought time to the You Koun Koun III, a First 36.7 patrolled by Adolfo Castro (CN Portonovo), second of the division.
Thus, the Mirfak would also be made with the absolute general and, therefore, with the last "Head" of the year - the bust of Elcan-, which he handed over in hand, and happy, the principal commander of the Marin Military Naval School, Pedro Cardona. It was not for nothing: in the presentation, the ship captain had made his wish for the "Head to stay at his house" (the Navy) as it has been.
The Ferrolano ship also raised the Galician title of Cruises, which last year had also won in the Infanta Elena Regata in A Coruña. This Sunday's event at the Naval School was attended by both the president of the Royal Nautical Club of Vigo, José Antonio Portela, and the president of the director of the RFGV, Manuel Villaverde, among other attendees. For the Mirfak "it has not been bad season," Diego López explained. Victories in the Infanta Elena, in the Rías Altas Regata and absolute subchampion in the Sea of Finisterre (winner in the Regata Class); now the triumph in the Guardiamarina, with which the season of races has probably closed.
After the Mirfak, he signed two first, the Orion (Alberto Javier Pérez, RCN Sanxenxo), with two seconds, and the Ozosana (Juan Carlos Pérez Olmedo, CN León), with two third places in the absolute general.
