The German Gunnar Biniasch has not given any truce to the regatists who have passed through the Baleària Wing Foil Spain Series 2022 at the five stops disputed throughout the season. In each and every race, Biniasch was imposed on its rivals by finishing first at all times, without giving the rest a choice to fight for the leadership of the general classification of the main category of the circuit, the Open Baleària Pro.

After the German, and at an amazing distance of more than thirty points, Portuguese Rui Lages signed the best results of his career in the Wing Foil race with a second place thanks to the excellent results obtained throughout the year, its constancy and regularity this season. In the same way, the Spanish Pedro Simó completed the final podium of the queen category after being unable to attend the Mallorca race for family reasons and to achieve two seconds in Murcia and Tarifa, a third in Denia and a fourth place at the Ibiza stop.

The Belgian regatist Regy Dils repeated the gestures of Biniasch, winning almost every race of the year. Dils was only unable to climb the podium in Mallorca because he was overcome by the great skill shown by the Riders who went to sail in Palma Bay. Despite this impas in his streak of successes, Dils managed to finish the circuit at the top of the classification by distancing himself at twenty points from his closest rival David José Pérez, who together with the Belgian Pierre de Groodt completed the final podium of the category.

In the race field, the German Gunnar Biniasch again showed his skill with the Wing Foil crossing the arrival line first in the first two tests of the day, after which the wind intensity decreased and the regatta committee told the regatists to return to the beach while waiting for the fresh wind.

In a short time, the fleet was able to return to the water and dispute two more tests before the end of the day. An error in the third manga penalized Biniasch with 11 points, but thanks to the fact that in the next test it was again left first and that it could be ruled out from the score that the transpiés, the German finished the day in a first provisional place of the category of the circuit queen.

Alongside him, the Alicantino Pedro Simó signed a second place in the classification with two seconds and two third in the tests of the day and while the young Hugo Ferrer closed the provisional podium with a third place.

With four victories behind his back, Biniasch will reach the fifth and last race of the year with a distance of more than twenty points on his nearest rival, the Portuguese Rui Lages, which will greatly facilitate him to proclaim himself absolute champion if he can keep his good streak of victories in this last race.

Lages, for its part, will have to go out to the regatta field on the beach of Los Lances to defend the second provisional position in the general classification against the Spanish Pedro Simó, who is nine points away from Portuguese.
