Juan Carlos Ameneiro with Javier Aguado, Javier Lago and Juan José Lago with the J80 Alboroto, was proclaimed on Sunday in Monte Real national champion of the J80 monotypes class. The victory of the amateur Galician pattern was a huge surprise, as the great favorite was certainly Javier de la Gandara... with his almost unbeatable Okofen, who had to settle for the second place... perhaps the lack of a basic crew for the Patriarch of the Gandara as is his son Javier, who chose to compete against 88 J70 of the world... in the Champions of the Monotypes in Hyeres, where he by the way achieved with the J70 Marnatura being the best ship of the Spanish and European team... he helped to take down the initial prognosis of the "or" the "of the" the "the" normal "
The Solintal Cantabre of Ignacio Camino of the Royal Maritime Club of Santander, completed the podium in the third position, not without having fought until the last minute for the title and after a weekend in which he did not get off the podium at any time. They also competed on the ship Armando Gutiérrez, Cristobal Piris and Abelardo Quevedo.

Later closing the top ten another two ships from Mount Real Spaco and Namasté.
On Sunday from 12: 00 in the morning the last day... the award of trophies at 5: 00 in the afternoon in the gardens of Mount Real, where the new Spanish champion of the J80 class and winner of the Gestilar Trophy will be crowned.

The J80 Alboroto armed and patronized by Juan Carlos Ameneiro is the leader of the Spanish Championship of the J80 monotypes class that is organizing the Monte Real Club de Yates.
The first triumph of the day was played by two teams practically from the beginning. Ignacio Camino's Solintal cantabre was the fastest and managed to score a comfortable victory ahead of the local Alboroto of Juan Carlos Ameneiro, which was second. From behind, at a remarkable distance, the third position was awarded by another team of Mount Real, the Namasté de Luis de Mira with a brilliant performance in the inaugural test.
In the second, with a little less wind, it was the Okofen of Javier de la Gandara that took the cat into the water, while the Alboroto repeated with a second position and the Dorsia Covirán of Rafael Díaz broke into the head teams with the third position.
It was in the last test of the day that the crew that led Ameneiro, managed to complete a great day of races, making his first partial victory ahead of two other teams that sail under the grympola of Mount Real: the Spaco of Santiago Estévez and again the Namasté, second and third respectively.
With these results the Alboroto, which also has among its ranks the Spanish champion of J80 Javier Aguado, Javier Lago and Juan José Lago, becomes the first leader of the Spanish Championship - Gestilar Trophy, and does so with a nine-point advantage over the second, the Solintal, which added a seventh and a sixth in the second and third test, and thirteen on the Dorsia Covirán, which is placed third provisionally. So is the general, after the first day
