Journalists from England, Ireland, France, Germany and Portugal visited the facilities of 12 nautical clubs belonging to Asnauga

A group of foreign journalists specializing in nautical science first-hand learned about the services and sports activities of the Galician nautical clubs that offer all the ships that decide to tie in their pants.

This visit was carried out under the agreement signed at the beginning of the year, between the President of the Xunta, Alfonso Rueda and the Association of Nautical Clubs of Galicia, with the aim of promoting and marketing tourism in Galicia, and more specifically "the promotion of the network of náutico-sports facilities from the road by sea to Santiago and from the National Park Illas Atlantic."

The president of Asnauga, Javier Ruiz de Cortázar Díaz, with the support of managers and managers of each port, was in charge of hosting and guiding the foreign delegation to offer them a global view of the infrastructure, as well as to inform them of all the services that are available to the ships that they tie in Galicia.

The interest of specialized journalists, in order to transfer their readers, focused on three important aspects,

1. Port services: such as number of available moorings, sea and land access, dry marina, repair boats, invert areas, costs, etc.

2. The possibility of navigation almost throughout the year, the beauty of the coast and its Rías, in conjunction with the tranquility to be able to rest in each port, and all of it decorated with Galician gastronomy.

3. The Xacobea Nautical Trip, as a new way of sailing, a point of union of all the aspects discussed, and that allows to unite navigation with spirituality.

All clubs have at least 10 percent of their places reserved to ships in transit... Ruiz de Cortázar clarified in the interest of visitors to know the existence of available moorings, to continue... the aim of the clubs is to promote tourism and nautical sport, so that our prices are always very competitive, he added to questions from journalists.

Foreign journalists were able to get to know first hand the promotional videos and brochures of Asnauga, of the National Park Illas Atlánticas, praising their professionalism and quality.

From last Wednesday to next Monday... a delegation of European journalists who specialize in the nautical sector is going through... information about the nautistic-tourist possibilities of the Galica coast at first hand.

The organizers of this work trip are explaining in detail the sports nautical activities of the Galician nautical clubs and the services they offer to all the ships that decide to tow in their pants, including the Xacobea Nautical Trip... which has aroused great interest in different European tourist sectors.

The visit is part of the promotion and marketing of tourism in Galicia, and more specifically in the promotion of the network of náutico-sports facilities of the road by sea to Santiago and of the National Park Illas Atlánticas of the activities, as well as of the nautical sport, from the Club do Mar de Ferrol, to the Club Náutico de Moaña mar, will visit the Rias de Ferrol, Ares, Camariñas, Arousa, Pontevedra and Vigo... making specific scales in the archipelagos of the Cíes and Ons.

The sports ports of Asnauga currently account for 57.14% of the distinctive "Q" of quality to sports ports granted by the Institute for Spanish Tourism Quality (ICTE) throughout Spain, which represents 92.31% of Galicia. The Galician Clubs within ASNAUGA also account for 80% of the Blue Flags, 100% of EMAS certifications, 100% of the ISO 14001 of Galicia. Finally, the nautical activity of the Clubs represents 90% of the entire activity carried out in Galicia.
