It is 2004 when Rodman by the hand of his marketing manager, María Herrero, organizes a great meal in the halls of the Real Club Nautico of Barcelona, to which the most representative of Spanish sports fishing is given, an event that has the presence of Don Manuel Rodríguez, president of the Rodman Group

The company that is a reference of the nautical sector based on the river of Vigo: the Rodman Group... launched at the beginning of this century the so-called Rodman Circuit of High Sports Fishing, which revolutionized this type of event... and left an impuritable mark on this sport.

On the other hand, the leaders of the Spanish Federation of Fisheries and Casting were invited to be co-organisers... this caused clean play and sustainable fishing, within the strictest margins of the EEC. One of the bulwarks of the whole Organization, were two Catalans of the Federació de Catalunya de Pesca i Casting... who carried out an excellent work: its President Francisco Estrada and the head of Mar Joan Colom. The integration of the Spanish with the Catalan and other autonomy such as Baleares, Valencia, Vasca, Cantabra, Gallega, Andaluza or Asturiana... was splendid.

The awards were limited to trophies only... by application of the amateur philosophy of the Circuit... the catches that in one of the citations was important, had a strictly social purpose, as they were donated to the benefit... read Caritas, Food Bank, or other NGOs in the sector. The measure was welcomed by all with resignation and with great elegance.

It runs in 2005 and in Denia is held the star test of the Circuit... the King's Cup. The closure of the Rodman Circuit is repeated in Barcelona

It was common in the six seasons that were from 2002 to 2007, to have notable competitions such as the Spanish Cup, the Spanish Championship, the King's Cup, the Catalunya Championship, the Asturian, the Basque or the Cantabre... to say a few examples.

In the different editions the global list of the 250 barcos- participating teams was always exceeded... and even in Barbate the 90 and in El Balís the 80... were more relevant.
