Led by pattern Kevin Escoffier, the Holcim-PRB is the fifth team confirmed in the IMOCA class

Kevin Escoffier, who already knows what it's like to win the event, will participate with his new generation IMOCA, the Holcim-PRB, in The Ocean Race, which will leave from Alicante on January 15, 2023.

Escoffier confirmed his presence on Monday when his IMOCA, with striking green and blue colors, left the shipyard in Lorient (France) and was renamed.

Escoffier claims that the team will uncover the crew that will participate in The Ocean Race in the coming weeks. Meanwhile, he will compete alone at the Defi Azimut in Lorient in September and on the transatlantic Rum Route in November.

Holcim-PRB joins the 11th Hour Racing Team by Charlie Enright, the Team Malizia by Boris Herrmann, the GUYOT Environment - Team Europe by Benjamin Dutreux and Robert Stanjek and Paul Meilhat's Biotherm as confirmed teams in the IMOCA class for The Ocean Race 2022-23.
