The south-west made it easy to the fleet that this Saturday has sailed between the rias of Pontevedra and Vigo, in what has already been the second edition of the Regata Costa da Vela NB21- Trofeo Juan Piñeiro, organized by the vicedecano of the nautical of Galicia... of the Maritime Liceo de Bouzas, in collaboration with the Portonovo Nautical Club and the Royal Galician Federation of Vela.

The boat of Bruno Gago, the island of Mouro, of the Nautical Club of Vilagarcía, took the triumph in the category of the ORC, successfully managing the weather bonanza with good conditions to navigate. Second in this Division was the Corisco III, of Marcos Pérez, Independent, who managed to gather for this appointment with the memory of the last crew of the Xerfa, a sailboat of which its owner was the very same Juan Piñeiro. The bronze post was awarded to him by the Fetch, Jorge Lago, of the Bouzas Maritime Liceo.

In the A2 the triumph was for the Spaco, of Santi Estévez and Pablo Franco, under the grympola of Mount Real Club of Yates of Bayona. He was followed in the second step of the podium el Narval, by José Antonio Portas and Antonio Pillado, by the Vilagarcía Nautico Club, being the third place for the Asante Sana, by Juan Carlos Trabazos and Joaquín Dasilva, both of Bouzas. The general of the race was left by Corisco III, by Marcos Pérez.

The award was held in the Main Hall of the Liceo, with the assistance of the president of the sports and social entity, Miguel Pereira; the executive representatives of the National Insurance Service NB21, Juan Carlos Calvo and Raul Sanyao; and the president of the Royal Galician Federation of Vela, Manuel Villaverde, among other managers of the Maritime such as its Vice President, Manuel Veiga and its Commodore, José Manuel Estévez. Paul Clarke, threatened the delivery, with an unplugged performance very much to the taste of all the attendees.

The Bouzas Maritime Liceo and the Portonovo Nautical Club, organize tomorrow Saturday the second edition of the Costa da Vela Travel NB21 Regata that has at stake the Juan Piñeiro Trophy.

The PRO is Carlos Villar, who will give the exit from the historic port of Portonovo, at the edge of 12: 00 in the morning... to the end of Bouzas, with a 20 of nautical in between... the closure at the Maritime Liceo around 7: 30 in the afternoon.

The race is intended for the Solitaire Divisions, A2 and Open, with demanding safety measures on board the ships such as the obligation to wear the life jacket, or to be subject by a life line to the own vest or to one of the fixed structures of the ship, to avoid possible falls to the water, as they cross the entire Costa de la Vela, between rios.

Corisco III, of the shipowner Marcos Pérez, promoter of the mythical TuyPan Women & Men, of the monotypes Platú 25, who has managed to bring together, for the occasion, all the crew of the Xerfa, the last sailing boat of the member of the Liceo, Juan Piñeiro... in the list also include sailboats such as the Smaku, of Alfonso Rodríguez, winner of the first edition of the Regata Costa da Vela NB21, in the category of Solitaries. Or the Fetch, by Jorge Lago, second in the same Division, both of Bouzas. In total at least 15 ships at the exit of Portonovo.

The Bouzas Maritime Liceo is still in the hands of Miguel Pereira... who has proposed not to go unnoticed as president of the centenary Vicedecano of the Galician nautical... who, in collaboration with the Nautical Club of Portonovo, are the organizers of the II Regata Costa da Vela NB21 that this year, and for the first time, houses the first edition of the Trophy Juan Piñeiro, in memory and tribute of who was one of the great partners of the Liceo Boucense, promoter in the sport of the sailing and ambassador of the club.

The presentation was held in the Main Hall of the Maritime, running the same by its president, Miguel Pereira, accompanied by its Commodore, José Manuel Estévez; the president of the Royal Galician Federation of Vela, Manuel Villaverde; and Juan Carlos Calvo, representing the North Broker Insurance Corredury, sponsor of the event.

The II Regata Costa da Vela NB21 - Trofeo Juan Piñeiro is organized by the Bouzas Maritime Liceo, in collaboration with the Club Náutico de Portonovo and the Real Federación Galician de Vela... for the ORC, Solitarios and A Dos classes, will be held on Saturday, August 27, in a single day, between the Rios of Pontevedra and Vigo, being the Top of departure at 12: 00 noon and the award of prizes at 7.30 p.m. in the Villa de Bouzas.
