The 470 Youth World begins in Hungary

The Spanish teams formed by Neus Ballester- Pablo García and Pablo Ruiz- Marta Peñarrubia compete this week in the 2000 Olympic World Youth Championship.

The competition, involving 26 crews from 12 countries, will take place in Lake Balaton, Hungary, until next Sunday.

Neus Ballester and Pablo García (CN Sa Rapita / RCN Sanxenxo) were octavos in the European youth of this class contested at the end of July, and their companions Pablo Ruiz and Marta Peñarrubia (RCN Palma / RCR Alicante) ended in the ninth position.

Lake Balaton hosted last week the 420 youth world in which Spain rose with the title of the best country, achieving a gold, three cans and a bronze. In those days the wind blew with little intensity and there were even two days on which it could not sail. For this new week we expect changing conditions than very little intensity days and others with strong winds.
